well we got a load of dead people comparable to a "bad flu season" (your claim) despite masks, locking down, social distancing, et cetera. your conclusion seems to be that these efforts were pointless.
my conclusion is that there would have been much more collateral damage if we had done nothing. yeah lockdowns are awful, but had we done nothing, 0.3% (mortality rate claimed by another anti vaxxer here pictured as "low"), this would have wreaked havoc on our society. 0.3% would be a shitload of people to die over a couple of months and you should also recognize that this number takes into account being able to get medical attention. much of the others who wouldn't have died would have gotten very sick and some of those end up with long covid also. furthermore, mortality might me higher when the hospitals get overwhelmed and need to cut corners. even now, where I live, they need to postpone surgeries because icu is packed again with covid patients (most of them unvaxed).
seriously, all those people who see their "rights infringed" by a collective effort to stop this pandemic are partially responsible that this is still going on. buhuhu I am scared of the vax buhu wearing masks suuuucks. give me a break you egotistical whiners.
The options weren't vaccine vs. doing nothing. There are a lot of effective treatments in the modern medical arsenal that were suppressed. MDs were told that if they used them, they would lose their licenses. Many MDs said fuck that and used those treatments, with great success. There are many papers on that now. We know, actually, that those other treatments work. I have a colleague who used ivermectin recently for covid.
The media is lying left, right and center now. The amount of information being censored and concealed is shocking. We have scientists all over the world blowing the whistle and the response is to deplatform them.
We have States in the U.S. with 90% vax rates that are now having new covid waves and the doctors are mystified. They are blaming the few unvaxed people left.
We are using a non-sterilizing vaccine in a pandemic and it's going to lead to a super strain of this virus. Mark my words.
The hospitals are filling up with vaxed people with covid and those injured by the vaccine. And soon we will have a super virus version of covid because the vaccine has naturally selected for high virulence. We won't have hospital capacity.
The people in charge have committed crimes against humanity with how they have handled this. And that's not even counting all the secondary deaths due to government policy of lockdowns. Medical procedures postponed, suicides, delayed development in children, social distancing, etc. And not to mention the economic impacts to the middle class that are being destroyed by pandemic policy. We won't know the full repercussions for years.
The choice wasn't vaccine or do nothing. We had MANY OPTIONS and these corrupt psychopathic liars reduced us to NONE so that we would accept their highly profitable one-solution of the vaccine. They are destroying our society and won't allow an open discussion about it. Fuck these assholes! Hang them all, the sooner the better.
