You dont know how good it is to hear that. I haven't been able to find anyone who regained their ability to feel high the same way it was pre-invega after losing it. Im 3 months off as well and I still can't get high but I'm hoping i will end up like you and it will come back.It was fully better at the start of this month, I started feeling that high I would get preinvega.
Some people have recovered very well after 6 months, 9 months, even 12 months. It can take longer than 3 months to significantly recover. That's why we have this series of threads, to make sure people know that you CAN and WILL recover. It just takes time unfortunately. You have to be patient and remain optimistic (which I know is very hard sometimes). But please don't give up after only 3 months. Focus on being healthy, do activities that will help you recover faster such as exercise and trying to get a good routine going every day. Please have faith that you will get better.I think we all just sort of ignore the elephant in the room which is that invega sustenna causes permanent brain damage. If you are 3 months in and dont feel normal yet and still can't get high, im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you're never going to feel good or get high again. The rest of your life will be lived as a robot with a damaged brain. It really is a fucking shame that they give this to people. Im just killing myself because i refuse to live this way
Takes six half lives to get everything out of your system one half life is around thirty to fourty days. Takes four months to get out significant amount. It depends on the symptoms if your are bedridden like paula or dirtyinvega for months and suffer dizziness its much harder. If you don't have many physical side effects and aches you are lucky lucky. Getting high should not be on your mind just feeling normal should. Invega is probably irreversible 5ht7 antagonist. Appearantly clozapine, st johnswort, thc and cbd, kratom can recover those receptors when invega is out of your system in general.I think we all just sort of ignore the elephant in the room which is that invega sustenna causes permanent brain damage. Much harder to do when you have a cto and are forced to take other drugs. How many people actually recovered while taking other anti psychotics ? Would be nice to get opinions on that. Some people have recovered very well after 6 months, 9 months, even 12 months. It can take longer than 3 months to significantly recover. I was out of hell phase but now I'm back inShit like that happens alot in hell phase
I just dont see any point in going on. I dont see any hope at all. Success stories are so fucking rare and im not impressed by the ones i read. They're never fully recovered. Theres always something still wrong. In almost all cases its they still can't get high. And the reason for that is because they aren't actually healed. What happened was they just got used to living without dopamine. But no one actually truly recovers unless its in the first 3 months from literally everything i have researched and i have researched so fucking much looking for hope. This shit permanently damages your dopamine receptors. Its as simple as that. You dont come back from it. I like getting high so it is a concern to me. Personally i dont want to live if i can't get high. Its one of the only pleasures i actually have in this world and the one escape i have. And without that pleasure im not interested in continuing to live a boring no pleasure having existence.Takes six half lives to get everything out of your system one half life is around thirty to fourty days. Invega is toxic as fuck tho pure nasty cannkt believe how side effecf ridden it truly is
This is exactly what I mean. It literally ruins you. These injections are so fucking powerful that they just destroy your brain. I wish I would have opted for the pills instead of willingly taking that motherfucking shot. I can't believe i ruined my entire life with a single decision.Post from v3 by tryagain
"When people speak of making a full recovery I wonder if they're implying the fullness is relative to all the pain and suffering they had to endure and the wisdom + strength of spirit garnered through achieving some kind of improvement after being stripped of it all. I took my last shot of risperdal consta after previously being prescribed the pill version sometime around late-2016 to early-2017. I can say although I've made a substantial recovery from the excruciating state of unfathomable agony and being completely bedridden, not able to stand or sit up for too long without risking a visit to the hospital. I still have not achieved anywhere close to the mental and emotional state I was in before taking the risperidone. I'm starting to accept the possibility that returning to the way I felt as well as the mental aptitude I once possessed may not be possible.
I know how you feel though. If you had it all back you would be leaping for joy. Crying tears of happiness for weeks straight. Letting everyone know online & offline in bold letters"
Tnx for suggestion. I will sleep in hotel at half way. I got some benzos they help but I wont take them every day.Might be a good idea to lay on couch watching tv more often. Resting is important.
Pick up some booze and go lay outside somewhere. Go to a hospital and explain you have severe insomnia or something get some calming meds. Think of something. Call a family member or friend and let them drive you home halfway
It is impossible to get used to no dopamine. They must returned some of their dopamine receptors. I never heard for any young person above 18 that didn't recovered. These "success" stories are all such garbage. Its always "I think im pretty much recovered". No you aren't. You're not. You wouldn't say pretty much or that you think you are. You'd damn well know it without any doubt whatsoever. If you have even a modicum of doubt about it you are not fully recovered. You just so badly want to be that you'll look for anything to try and think that you are. But its never going to happen dude. Just read through the threads for the evidence. Nobody recovers. There are simply countless numbers of people, 1 year, 2 years, FIVE YEARS down the road still suffering. It has nothing to do with how much invega is left in your body. You do not have any in your body after many years like that. What you are now dealing with is irreversible brain damage. If it doesn't heal after 1 year it isn't going to. You can bullshit yourself all you want and say you're recovered but deep down you know damn well that is bullshit
