If you think about how many people would need to be involved in such a conspiracy, doesn't it seem implausible to you?

It's interesting that there are conspiracy theories about multiple COVID-related issues. In the past couple of posts on this thread we have China conspiring to release the virus and wreck the world economy... but we've also got vaccine conspiracies.

I wonder what it is psychologically that compels people to do this?

Back when I consumed a lot of psychedelic drugs, I lacked the desire to question things when I was super high. Some things I wanted to believe, so I just believed them. I suspect this is the case with conspiracy theories. Perhaps people need to believe the vaccines are all tainted, somehow, so they can justify not getting jabbed.

I don't think there should be any pressure on people to get vaccinated. Applying pressure is not an effective way of controlling people in the free world.

What does everyone think about incentives?

What if the government gives citizens a once-off payment when they present documentation to prove they are fully vaccinated?

Is there any amount of money that would change your mind?

Hi all. I just deleted a bunch of off topic posts. Please remember this is the COVID thread.

Also, a couple of the posts I deleted regarding China were fairly close to being racist. If you want to discuss what you think is some kind of world domination plot, be careful to restrict the discussion to a government or whatever shadow body is directing it.

As long as you discuss COVID and _____, I’m fine with it. There just has to be a COVID component.
I was thinking I would move the “is the Bible prophecy” discussion to P&S, but it didn’t really hold together as a stand-alone discussion. Let me take another look at the posts and see if I can cobble something together.
But please feel free to discuss COVID and biblical issues here.

I'm not answering these questions, Cduggles the moderator or whatever here name is keeps deleting my posts, regarding these issues, both your questions are off topic to her.
 
I should have exercised more care and reservation, not commented so dumbfounfly about China.

But, we are surely allowed to report genuine, successful, powerful fail proof ways of treating the most severe, potentially fatal, respiratory viruses including Covid.

Surely. I’m in heaven still. 2 days infection no higher than maybe 15% max.

I was convinced I had my 3rd Covid case. I was dying, figuratively.

I’m dismissed, everything at say on this is, it’s ignored as more AutoTripper quackery, by mere assumption (I don’t mean a personal thing or personal prejudice, I feel people are pretty fair minded here towards each other still).

But It is ridiculous to me, that so many clever people here, just can’t entertain the consideration that electromedicine works.

It’s very very possible I have Covid in my lungs. 2nd time, 3rd time in total.

I could have died? Gone to hospital on a ventilator? Exhausted precious health care resources?

Or at least suffered through ongoing hell, too unable to breathe, too weak to stand up, no hope for the future or any comfort within sight.

Instead, I targeted every single area of my lungs, 9 main ones I can cover all with.

Plus throat and sinuses. Result, 85% + reduction in the respiratory virus.

Even if it’s not Covid, it’s (or WAS) an equally severe respiratory infection.

This stuff works, works, and works, all day long. But my testimony is just dismissed.

Because of FDA corruption and suppression ultimately.

Every patient of respiratory Covid could, would, should be treated, saved instantly, with this or an equally or more effective alternative method or model.

Big Pharma would agree.

Does anybody here use Alexa? If so, please ask Alexa about the effectiveness and validity of electromedicine for treating any and all infections.

Ask if the FDA deliberately, knowingly banned and suppressed a valid, safe, effective technology for treating infections.

She comes out with things you wouldn’t expect sometimes I have heard.

if you have had covid your chances are good it would not be bad and if it was.

I truly feel for you.

ive lost people I know to this shit and lost my career and many of the freedoms I used to enjoy.

yep there is a way that if you point your member to the south that a cold chill will enlighten you and

covid will be so scared not to touch you.

or you could trust an entire planets worth of science.

hell you all take our drugs now trust one of us.

we need you to get vaccinated and now.

No amount of money would sway me, I forgot to add, was also an arguably on topic part of the deleted mishmash.

I accounted why, not even millions of pounds. My mum would feel the same. We would never encourage each other to do some wither given such an offer, for our own selfish or each other’s sake.

Is how we feel, very strongly.

Did the plague really have a 99%+ survival rate?

I won’t be taking any vaccine. I’ll die first. I’d die more comfortably without it than with it if I was unfortunate to be one of the many many thousands, who aren’t qualified as worthy of being included in this discussion, in any detail it seems, who are suffering life crippling side effects.

It’s happening. Whatever you say. However you argue it’s justified. It’s still happening.

It could happen to me. Nobody, nobody can assure me, certainly not guarantee me it would not.

I can beat Covid using the home treatments. Only nerve based (Long Covid) would be harder for me to overcome quickly.

I’m not trying to fall out with anybody here, put any noses out. I respect everybody here. So please don’t take anything as targeted or retaliational.

I am just bursting with passion on this.

Thanks for the sincere well meaning.

We’ve bashed over this though. If I’m a danger to others, who are those others? Unvaccinated? Or vaccinated? (These are open questions for argument’s sake)

Or all, by being the cause of new variants by not being vaccinated?

Leaving number 3 aside, If the the vaccines WORK, then how can I be a danger to others vaccinated?

If I can, the vaccines surely DON’T work?

Or they only work, if EVERYBODY in the world has one?

Now a danger to unvaccinated, like my mum, who is therefore a danger to me too.

We choose. Those who haven’t been offered a vaccine yet?

I don’t accept the moral duty, obligation to have mine against all the will in my body, because some people are still waiting and I’ve been offered mine at the cost of timber at least twice, now they just text, email me thankfully, I hate wasting trees.

Or those who for some fair reason cannot have the vaccine?

I can’t see the explanation as to how I am a threat to the vaccinated.

If every person will be offered it, every person has a choice to be protected from the dangerous people, or take chances.

I saw the posts that got deleted. While I think it was done in haste, you never really explained the connection in the first place. I think this is just an excuse, because you know there isn't a solid connection to the text. Is the mark of the lamb code for people who are vaccinated and the mark of the beast a sign of people who are not vaccinated?

My problem generally with prophecy is my problem with group psychics. They always start with something simple, like a common name or a letter or a year. It's too vague. It could mean anything. As far as Revelations applies to moments in history, the same thing applies only even more so. Instead of betting that someone in a room full of people knows someone named Jim, you can apply text (and people have, exhaustively) to literally thousands of years of events all over the world.

If prophets know the future, why are they never specific?

What is it about COVID that makes you think of the mark of the beast?

its not binary. they work x% of the time. so there is 100-x% of the time where they don't prevent transmission or they don't prevent serious illness. x >> 50% (from what i've read, >85% even for new variants). serious adverse reactions to these vaccines occur << 1% of the time.

so, if you are not vaccinated, you have a greater chance of contracting and therefore transmitting covid. if you then come into close, protracted contact with someone in the 100-x% for whom the vaccine does not prevent serious illness then you could cause them to be seriously ill. if you come into close, protracted contact with someone in the x% for whom the vaccine works exactly as intended then you are not a danger to them.

the vast majority of deaths due to the covid are now in the unvaccinated population.
