they say when you cook vegetables or freeze them it ruins the nutrients... is that true bluelight?

So some nutrients will be destroyed while others will become more bioavailable.

This is why it’s good to have a mix of a fresh and cooked foods in your life. But preferably our bodies like cooked food since it’s more broken down.

The base was a parsnip and garlic mash I think? Not sure. But I remember it was E.P.I.C
Then obviously green beans, and cherry tomatoes (I think he roasted them in the oven??).
I reeeeally wish I could remember what the fish was.....but I can't.
Then pan-fried chorizo and parsnip crisps on top

My taste in food is all about texture. I love crispy/crunchy stuff which is why I prefer my meat well done. I don't like chewy. Love crispy salad.

@G_Chem this was a classic This was a "lazy Sunday dinner". He asked what protein I felt like for dinner, I said "Hmmm maybe prawns?", and this is what I was presented with :D Hands down, THE BEST CURRY I HAVE EVER HAD, made from scratch. I was like what the actual fuck?!

What's the chorizo sitting on?? It's a piece of fish, I can't remember what type of fish unfortunately. But it was delicious, and he does the whole pan-fried crispy skin thing perfectly.

I cook all dinners generally as my girlfriend isn't proficient. Tonight i made cod fish tacos. Its weird, I'm not a big food person but I'm a fancy cook.

I really would like to stop eating all animals other than fish (and perhaps eggs) for ethical purposes. It's cruel. But its hard not to eat beef, chicken, turkey etc. I'm no bleeding heart activist type of person but when i visualize some of the dark places that this food comes from I feel complicit in their torture.

SAME!!! People turn their noses up at the idea of lab-grown meat products but I'm like pfft bitch it's literally the SAME CELLS, just grown in a petri dish. Get your puny human brain over it and fuckn eat it!

The only beef I really don't have any qualms eating is my father's beef (yes he is a beef farmer, I grew up on a beef farm), because I know for a fact that those cows are treated like royalty, are 100% organic, and killed humanely.
Plus it is delicioussssss OMFG (likely as a result of how they are treated when they're alive)
