9-me-bc

far as i remember this shit has been available freely on the market for 15 years now and i remember at the beginning longecity forum was all hooked on it. not sure what happened really. its the same with selegiline too when longecity members were reporting anti aging and amazing stimulation benefits from it and then suddenly, GONE.
thats the best i can describe this one. in the same category as selegiline really. both of them, just went under the radar.
i cannot give personal experience because ive never had it, but selegiline was pretty interesting.
anyway, i would love to go after this one and try it

Something going off radar doesn't need to mean it's bad. Most opioid folks still believe that a healthy withdrawal is the best way to get rid of them, for example. I've never really could convince anybody to try dissociatives for withdrawal (outside bluelight) despite them working fine.

But makes sense that it's similar to selegiline (another weird chem I didn't tolerate, got strong bouts of aggression out of nothing, while stims work for me). Selegiline can be neuroprotective** too, unsure about healthy adults. I'd have expected euphoria but this selective DRI antibiotic RC of which I forgot the name, didn't do anything in me either than causing some rash. Know that dopamine is more focus & anticipation than euphoria but still. Even the "dopamine agonist effect"/mania from memantine was fun, while of course this one is additionally a NMDA antagonist, but selective such ones are said to be cold..

** protecting against MPTP means next to nothing for healthy individuals, imho. Same for protection against high doses of d-meth, while of course interesting for some.

I like 9-Me-BC, it provides a subtle energy and less subtle mood boost, and does indeed help to prevent craving for stimulants. I wish it was less expensive, but compared to a stim habit, it's a bargain.

since you like dissociatives so much, how do you feel about DXM for WD from opiates?
ive only done it few times 15 years ago, and while it didnt really make me normal, it sure did take your "mind off" things, as dissociatives tend to do naturally haha

can you provide better description than this. it sounds like mild dose caffeine lol
i mean, 90% of americans are addicts to mild stims like caffeine. and your description fits it perfectly!

edit: btw i just realized your avatar contains the broccoli hybrid Romanesco. I just found out about it this week haha. Whats up wth this, why is it in your avatar anyway

Have to say that I am very interested in this compound, but specially because it is a MAOI. Anything known whether it is reversible (likely) or irreversible and if active there at normal dosages? Moclobemide failed for me, provided only brain-fog. Deprenyl failed too (5mg, strong potentiation of aggressive behavior) but Serotoni (SNDRA and MAOI) was bliss, and seemed to be much, much less depleting than other serotonin releasers. Also I didn't know about it being a MAOI back then, and no interactions with food were noticed. Tranylcypromine is not available here.

I loved DXM as an adolescent, did you read about the 50 trip limit? Don't nail it down on the number, it's more about age mayb than, which is indeed very strange. After I began using the real (ACH) dissos, it stopped working suddenly and completely. Could take 600mg and only got voices, demonic voices telling me to kill myself etc.. without any psychotic history. Even in the occasions when it worked again, the experience lost all positive aspects. Maybe I just had another sense of positivity as a teen but too many write about this limit.

If DXM works for you, it'll be a good aid. Even venlafaxine helps, and DXM got powerful SNRI properties. Ok, you don't want the N in there but you could take clonidine alongside it if you're prone to anxiety.
The dextrorphan metabolite should certainly help but maybe you need to go high..

I found memantine to work best, maybe because it has such a long half life and agonizes D2, so replacing part of the missing dopaminergic activity during w/d. O-PCM inhibited tolerance development and w/d to/from buprenorphine and made me feel great when dependent on morphine and skipping it during dissoverse but the experience was strongly psychotomimetic - probably not dangerous for people without a psychotic disorder but anybody can have lingering things which get triggered. For people experienced with psychedelics it should be easy though, these dissociatives are complete anxiolytics for me, in the sense of being unable to feel any more real anxiety or pain while leaving positive feelings somewhat intact (requires careful dosing, unfortunately doesn't apply to DXM which can trigger physical panic attacks in sensitive individuals above maybe 400mg).

But another, maybe better strategy than going disso-turkey is to add low doses of one for some weeks and gradually taper, this has been reported to work with as little than like 25-50mg DXM (unlikely but people say it'll work) ...

It is indeed. It's my avatar picture because one day I was tripping and went into Whole Foods with my girlfriend and while we were picking out vegetables, I saw it, and had to do a triple take because I couldn't believe it was real. So I took a picture and made it my avatar. It's a perfect fractal, it's really pretty incredible.
