Police Brutality Thread

So the new argument is “I grabbed the wrong weapon”? What kind of training are these people getting?
Someone posted a picture of a taser and a revolver, and they have similar triggers, and the taser is not like the ones anyone can buy for self defense.

This guy Daunte-why can't they or their parent(s) spell names correctly? They are not Italian or southern European at all-was a violent criminal, had robbed people with a gun, apparently had an illegal gun he purchased easily-gun restrictions do nothing as thugs and criminals can easily buy guns, resisted arrest, did not follow orders, and drove away.

I have a question.

After watching that testimony (Pathologist): Mr. Floyd, appearance aside, seems to have had a fair amount of other health issues etc. Not to mention, well, you know.

What if these officers are all acquitted? I mean let’s just say?

Well what happens to the money? Didn’t they jump the gun on this? It’s a fair question not?

Mr. Floyd most certainly had a host of ailments. High BP, thinning heart arteries, overweight, sickle cell trait ( asymptomatic ) and a couple others. Oh and a fondness for fent and meth ! Chauvin certainly can be acquitted. I think the other 3 will do a plea bargain. The $$$ will be the Floyds to keep. Don't know if they jumped the gun.as I don't know how Minnesota came up with the amount nor the ease in which they got it. Well the South African did a fine job of instilling reasonable doubt. He hammered home many possibilities. Very good testimony. The cross will be after their lunch. Should be very interesting.

did the fact that some nazi doctors were college educated protect them from prosecution? i doubt this ratassfuckdumpshitface is even educated to ANY degree other than domination of the minority (physically)

Nope. Wrong. See somewhere above in previous posts. :)

Absolutely none of this is relevant to a veteran police officer allegedly pulling the wrong weapon out. Tasers are made of plastic (guns are metal), are neon yellow (the Glock is black) and a pound lighter than a Glock. But great victim blaming with the slightest soupçon of racism. Bravo.

^ indeed. a cop that can't tell the difference between a taser and a hand gun should not be working.

his name is daunte, spelled d-a-u-n-t-e. what do you mean by "correctly"? it is spelled correctly.

I meant D-A-N-T-E. you know, the author of the Divine comedy. Or, maybe you do not know who Dante was or what he wrote?

She will also
2nd degree Manslaughter charged in this incident this afternoon. Looks like she is next on the roster. Looks like the City of Minneapolis better dig deep in their pockets AGAIN ! Unbelievable.

Have you ever fired a gun, ever? Or been in the presence of someone who had a gun and pulled it out at you, or was going to and could have fired it at you or near you?

It was a horrible accident and that poor woman will have to live the rest of her life with it.

Nothing I wrote is racist sweetie. His name is spelled incorrectly but that's the uneducated thug hood mentality for you. He was wanted for choking and robbing a woman at gunpoint, and I wouldn't be surprised if he sexually assaulted/raped her. I'm sure he was a nice guy deep down though. A real 'gentle giant', just like Michael Brown and George "Fentanyl" Floyd. 8)

i know dante well.

the man who was shot was named daunte. spelled daunte.

i think we both - along with cduggles - know what you meant by "correctly"...

:(

No I don't know what you and cd think I mean by 'correctly'? Either way, the name is not spelled correctly or properly.

As expected, the Prosecution is rebutting almost everything the South African testified to on Direct examination. Reasonable doubt is diminishing as a result. Not sure if the jury feels the same way, however. I'm sure Nelson is going to get back up and do damage control here in a minute or two.

If you (as an officer) can't tell your gun from your taser, get the fuck out of that cop car and hand in your badge.
Mall-security seems like a better fit, but you can only have the walkie-talkie.

The prosecution did an amazing job! Made the dr look foolish at times, especially when asking him how to pronounce words correctly. I was impressed with cross examination.

I've fired many guns over the course of my lifetime, and I can tell you without-a-doubt that the idea of mistaking a taser for a handgun is just as ridiculous now as it was in the Oscar Grant case

Yeah I thought about this today, watched the video again and I revise my stance.

Is there a big difference in the force that needs to be applied? Maybe this is mentioned in articles but I admittedly didn’t read any.
