Dumbest shit drug addicts say

Amazing how a postulation (which he admits he has no evidence for, and which no evidence has been found for) by Strassman in The Spirit Molecule led to hordes of people repeating the "DMT flood at death" thing as absolute fact. And then over time I've heard it being expanded to birth, dreaming, and even orgasms by silly hippies.

DMT IS actually produced in trace amounts and probably functions as a neurotransmitter... it is very close to serotonin, after all, and our bodies use a number of tryptamines (melatonin is another example). But there's no evidence for death releasing a flood. In fact people who die and come back report experiences that are not reminiscent of DMT blastoffs.

Not saying it's definitely not true, it just irks me when people repeat it as fact, when it is certainly not anything anyone has proven.

This is funny, but to be perfectly honest I actually understand exactly where shes coming from. Smoking meth, as damaging and horrific it has been to life, also had a benefit that I held onto for a long time. The particular energy and mental acuity it gave me...at least when it was working well.. Id say crystal meth is what got me back into music so heavily after I had a couple years not playing as much from mid-2018 to mid-2020. Thats been very therapeutic to me.

I wouldnt have come into BL in such a big way if I wasnt using so much meth last year into January this year and I wouldn’t have the millions of meaningfuk conversations ive had and the many friends ive made here.

Meth benefitted my life just as much as it destroyed it when I look at it from that angle. It was therapeutic. Now its time to continue the same path without the drugs, because I can get a better grip on what I have now sober. I couldnt have done it without meth, as fucked up as that sounds.
 
Reality is for people who can't handle drugs. (probably wrong thread lol)

I mean only cocaine is supposedly actually improved in any way and that is seriously more cardiotoxic compared to cocaine sans alcohol

Most drugs seem to decline in experiential quality when adding booze for no goddamn reason,

I am astounded as to how often people with perfectly good drugs throw in some cheap liquor, ruin the buzz and then blame the drugs instead of the booze

I remember “I’m pulling in now” meant 15-30mins away in crack dealer terminology, if your lucky lol.

My heroin dealers were much more timely though. Again they were top guys in my area, but I loved how real they were about things. If they couldn’t serve you that night, they told you. If it was gonna be hours, they’d tell you. At least then you can wait at home and not sitting in the car looking all over for 4 hours. But almost always it was “yea meet me here.” When we got there they’d usually be there already, or closeby (change up locations for safety.)

They're good pills, I think there's H in those. They turned out to be fine but I suspect they had MDMA and MDA in them. Lots of visual stuff like a flashing effect and slight color distortion and time distortion
 
I look at marijuana as a medicine as well as methamphetamine and MDMA. MDA seems like it's all fun but maybe it's medicine to somebody. Of course morphine and other opiates/opioids I've had like oxycodone are medicine to me too but I suspect I'm in pain for some reason as I think about them all the time and don't get high from them unless I take big doses to where I start forgetting things even though I'm fully conscious

Way back, a guy told me he had Jack Herer and I got suspicious. I mean I know he doesn't grow so that seemed odd, but that's the last one from me. I don't have any other weird comments from dealers

I read something recently that in a study where a group of cocaine addicts were given seperately, cocaine, and cocaethylene IV.. cocaethlyene is actually less cardiotoxic than cocaine.. this was in the 2021 book Drug Use for Grown-Ups: Chasing Liberty in the Land of Fear by Carl Hart.

This doesnt teally say much to the fact that when you mix coke and alcohol you wind up with both substances in your system at once. Its interesting though that cocaethlyene isnt actually as dangerous as people make it out to be. At least individually, cocaine is much more dangerous for cardiotoxicity. People usually think about this the other way around due to the mythology of it.

lesson to be learned here; cocaine itself is very cardiotoxic. Dont think youre okay cause you didnt drink. Cocaethlyene is NOT as cardiotoxic as cocaine let alone more. Not a good mix still but if youre on coke at all youre taking a risk.

Aaaah, but you forgot about smokes. Smokes + liquor = I mean, pretty fucking garbage, but still. :p

Also, pretty sure what @Outlier said: cocaethylene is not more cardiotoxic than cocaine. It's the safe heart health choice! ;)
I think cocaethylene is primarily quite hepatotoxic and thus has its use discouraged.

Man, I just realised that I'm the worst person ever.

Not only did my meth use include copious amounts of gin (and smokes!), which according to you is wrong....but I fucking always loved cocaethylene (and smokes!) and still love liquor and smokes.

I could be doing cool, interesting drugs......what the hell went wrong in my life?
