I've now been on meth for nearly 3 years. In the begining it was much more sporadic done in smaller doses and usually on only weekends but as time has progressed I've built up more of a tolerance and now use it several times a day. This all started when I went off my adderall. You see since I was a young kid I have been on ADHD medication starting with ritalin and going over to adderall when it came out. The doctors office I was going to did random drug tests but my doctor was pretty cool and would give me heads up on them because I admittedly told her I smoked pot and one of the offices rules was that they wouldn't continue prescribing me it if I was to test positive for THC. The last test I took I even though I thought I should have been fine I did end up testing positive for it and oddly enough for fentanyl.... which seems odd to me because I don't know how. Maybe it was the Crystal I had smoked a couple days before that could have had it in it? At that point I would smoke Crystal once in a great while usually at the end of my prescribed period if I ran out of my Adderall before my next refill. I haven't gone back to a doctor since to try and get my script again and I'm not sure exactly what the laws are or what information my medical chart would have in it to give them a reason not to prescribe me the medication again. I'm pretty sure that THC isn't going to be something that would disqualify me however I am concerned that maybe the positive result on the fentanyl would. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about going to a doctor and doing this because I have a strong desire to cut meth out of my life however without my meds I feel as if this would be an impossibility for me. I feel like this might be a situation where if it I dont do this right the first time it might make it impossible or pointless to try again. Any information anyone can give me or advice would be greatly appreciated. I live in New Jersey by way of laws you knowing what different laws or circumstances to apply to my situation that may differ from state to state.. Thank you for any help you guys can give.
