Capital punishment

Ah shit son. I'd rather be known for the music I've written. @dalpat077 I would consider myself the biggest underground artist in the states. Homegrown. But really I'm a bum, unemployed for 11 years who lives in his parents basement. I dabble with psychedelics, love weed, and drink too much.

facebook.com/homegrowndrama Or check out country and western music in the music thread. One of my videos is there (post #21), but the FB would be easiest.

@ions was charged with harassment and stalking and was given a retraining order for following a female. This was all admitted by him on another thread. He told me “it’s not stalking it’s following” and with those kinda statements, is it a wonder he was chased down by however many cops?!

edit to add:
He’s been in jail, given how he presents it’s pretty obvious what that was for. I don’t think I need to spell it out.

You don’t need to, you were convicted. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Saying you're guilty doesn't mean the charges are necessarily true or accurate. It's just to avoid more jail or to be set free. Plus I was so doped up on haldol during these proceedings that it's not a reliable plea. You can't prove any of the harassment claims were me or any of my subordinates. But I did plea guilty to interfering with a police officer in connecticut which is a misdemeanor. ANd 2 counts of 2nd degree harassment which is just a civil violation not a record. Once again, haldol and risperdal, I just wanted to be done. But the girl would've been better off if she got the fines and cash paid, not the state of new york. Afterall, I accuse her of lying to a police lieutenant.

@dalpat077 thanks for listening. Yeah, I have some funds (BTC), I'm trying to record the drama album. It's in the works. Watch the bubble burst, there may be a changing of tides. I mean, I used to be in military shape in grad school. But the antipsychotics made me gain 100 lbs or so. That's what they do and what they want to do to you. But thanks again.

I kinda just shake my head at your posts really.

I am super interested on your opinions though of the topic of this post and about the opinions expressed by those like @jhjhsdi.

Captial punishment left up to the state. Eye for an eye in the bible, although I wouldn't execute an inmate. Just dope them up on haldol if it's a proper conviction and let them live in a cell. It's a burden on the taxpayer yea, but so is the incarceration of nonviolent offenders. @MsDiz

They run deep. If they get emotional, it's an IOI (indicator of interest). Like women use shit tests to dismiss a guy. I'll use lines and routines to gauge personality. @dalpat077

The conversation has wandered quite a bit from the original question, can we bring this thread back on track, please?

You can go to jail for these crimes. Maybe capital punishment in some countries that aren't so free speech. But she is beautiful and I think all the cops were jealous and abused power. Once you're in jail tho, lawyer up if you can, public defenders are worthless. It's good to have a legal team on retainer.

Attraction is not a choice. Probably inappropriate to say in a capital punishment thread. She must have daddy issues. @JessFR @dalpat077
In my country you’d get off lightly also due to pretty breezy laws and sentences. Capital punishment isn’t a thing here because we aren’t monsters. I don’t believe in putting someone to death for any crime. Myself and @JessFR have very similar views when it comes to it.

Using emotion and logic is a human thing, not a sex thing and I’d be hard pressed to get emotional over you although you’re an interesting study.
Luckily for you capital punishment didn’t come into play for your conviction but to have the same views as before isn’t very logical, is it? Imagine you were in a state that really came down hard on such things. You’d have to reign yourself in.

These are war crimes. I'm trying to find a attorney willing to prosecute and sue the state for time served. Because as I've said it's an unconstitutional crime which are crimes against government like tyranny and treason. They (judges, cops, professors) deserve not the death penalty but to be locked up bare minimal. But there's an example of Aaron Hernandez who got life for Odin Lloyd's murder. I suspect he El Chapoed and paid his escape. Maybe he did suicide, but life for murder. His lawyer had helped get murderers acquitted before so there's the celebrity aspect of punishment and politicians playing favorites. @MsDiz

For real though, as White Rose asked... let's veer back to the topic, which is pretty far away from what has been going on the last few pages.

One of the challenges in discussing capital punishment is that people use an unambiguous example of a cut and dried monster (say Timothy McVeigh in this thread) to justify adopting a system where the State is given the power of life and death in cases that are no-where near as unambiguous.

The question of whether (say) Timothy McVeigh has morally forfeitted his right to life is not the same question as whether the US should have the death penalty,

Personally, I think the latter question hinges on whether the community has faith that justice is always blind (to color, gender, wealth, age, inteligence, moral capacity and many other things) and the State always infallible in its decisions.

Because I don’t believe justice is blind or the state infallible I believe in the potentially reversible punishment of civil death rather than actual death. Especially in the US where judicial decisions are so strongly imfluenced by mob thinking via the election of officials like prosecutors and governors They often prosecute or consider clemency according to re-election strategies which always have an element of mob rightiousess and groupthink in how they play out.
