In 1918/19 they were treating a real threat that genuinely claimed tens of millions of peoples lives. In October 1918, the US reported 156,000 deaths, that's in one month according to the CDC. The total amount of deaths is speculated but it's thought to be around 50,000,000. We are at roughly 1,840,000 deaths for COVID-19 after 9 months, and this is based on flawed PCR tests that were never meant to be used as a diagnostic tool and it's inventor vehemtly condemned their use in such a way. The inventor died a few months before the pandemic was first reported. You can watch interviews where he says how he regrets how the medical establishment uses his invention. He says his invention is incredible at identifying things but it also says you can manipulate the test to show anything in order to reinforce your theory. In the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918/1919 (the last global pandemic), there were quite a few parallels to now. There were widespread mask mandates and business capacity restrictions, in which people were actually jailed for not complying. Many people complied, and many people rebelled, just like today. I was just reading some interesting historical pieces about it. There are an awful lot of similarities. One big difference was that in 1918/1919, most people were wearing gauze over their faces which is obviously pretty damn ineffective since it is full of giant holes. They also shut down businesses, schools and churches. Not really much different from today at all, really interesting to read about actually.
Anyway, the measures we have taken today would not be enough to prevent something like the 1918/19 pandemic. We have no resources to prevent the flu or anything flu-like.
Still today the common flu is something we cannot prevent. So having said that, why are we not at similiar figures like in 1918? Because it's not the same thing. Comparing 2020 to 1918 is like comparing apples to oranges.
The illusion is it is the same, or similiar, and the elaborate deceptive use of history is cementing it's severity in place. If this is a war, we are fighting over who gets a cart at the shopping center, not who gets a gun from the stores to fight a million strong army who have just landed on home territory. So it's not a war then, right? What happened during 1918/19 was very real. What is happening now is not. The parallels are deliberate and are there to convince you that it's similiar to something that happened in the past and because we look back into the past and see things happening in similiar ways we come to the conclusion that the present is the same as the past. Your entire reality is essentially being reconditioned. You're being gaslighted into discarding your senses and accepting what is essentially an alternative reality. Where is this alternative reality going? Judging from the looks of it, towards top-down control of every inch of your life.
This never happened in 1918/19. The actions taken were propionate to the threat at the time and peoples lives were not changed forever as a result of the actions taken. Today your loving mainstream media and your politicians keep reminding you that somehow COVID-19 has changed your life forever and there is nothing you can do about it. I can't find any parallels when I look at it like that.
