We're both sober. I haven't had any drugs (including alcohol) for over 11 weeks now... I'm much worse when I'm fucked up.

It astounds me how the Trump types think it's the left that will do anything to win.

Obama capitulated his election straight away, trumps done everything to try and stay in power, trying to get state legislatures to bypass the voters. Telling his supporters to indimidate voters.

Trump put Americans in danger to help him win the election in his rallies while Biden was sensible and didn't crowd people together in a pandemic.

Fucking hypocrites.

It astounds me how the anti-Trump types don't realize that they never accepted him as their president... it astounds me that they forgot how they treated him for the past four years... it astounds me that they forgot about the Russia collusion bullshit and the impeachment hoax...

But most astounding of all is (after all that) they blame Trump and Trump supporters for dividing the country.

Fucking hypocrites.

Obama served two terms.

I can't speak for others, but I've always accepted trump as the legitimate winner of 2016.

That we tried to impeach him is irrelevant

Presidents have faced impeachment since forever. Remember Clinton? And Bush? And Nixon?

It wasn't until trump that presidents actually ignored the result of the election and tried to bypass it entirely.

That's not the same at all.

Except it isn't fighting fire with fire.

There is no evidence of systemic fraud. There just isn't. That's why they're getting nowhere in court.

There's a reason they:re getting nowhere with even republican trump appointed judges.

There was a Bush impeachment? Clinton was getting sucked off by junior staff members and Nixon was a total fuck up... What was Dubya impeached for? I must have missed that.

I don't think it is irrelevant. Trump was impeached for nothing. There was talk of his impeachment all the way through his presidency, right from the beginning. Whenever he did anything slightly wrong, the left declared "Impeachment!" Why? Because they wanted to remove him by any means necessary. That has never happened before. Presidents fighting an election result has happened in the US and many other countries. The Greens tried to do a recount in 2016, but it turned out there were more votes for Trump than the original count. Gore tried to do a recount vs Bush but the supreme court voted against it. This isn't totally unprecedented. What is totally unprecedented is the way the president was treated from day one. When I saw how Bush Jr. was treated, I was shocked. At the time I said, this has never happened before. This is fucking crazy. But it was nothing in comparison to Trump. No matter who gets elected in the future on a republican ticket, they will be treated like shit. Because the left are a bunch of babies (like Trump) and they do not accept the results of an election when a republican wins.

Fuck that shit, you cant expect me to deal with you guys sober.

It's hard enough doing it half asleep on methadone.

This is me dialed down about nine (out of ten) notches. You're gonna have to get back on heroin to deal with me when I relapse. :D

Trump was impeached for trying to solicit a foreign country to attack his domestic political enemies. That's not nothing.

I'm a junk of all trades kinda guy. Alcohol is definitely a permanent fixture, along with weed. On top of that: amphetamines, benzos and the occasional psych... I go through phases. Was into opiates for a couple of years. Injected meth on and off for about a decade and a half. Spent 5 years heavily into shrooms/LSD.

If I had to chose two it'd be weed and amps.
If I had to chose one, I'd kill myself. :)

I must not be a true poly drug addict (other than maybe nicotine).

Cause if I could only have one drug type forever for the rest of my life, I'd immediately know the answer. Opiates. Wouldn't need even a second to think about it.

Not that amphetamines and weed can't be fun. Alcohol too.

And I really do miss smoking. :(

Back on topic now. I honestly suspect Trump will win in 2024. Most people were surprised he won in 2016 and he will have four years to learn from his mistakes before the next election...

Is there another republican candidate who has what it takes to beat him for the nomination against an incumbent? I seriously doubt it.

Who are they going to run?
Marco Rubio / Ted Cruz / Jeb Bush?

Whether or not Trump wins in 2024 depends on how much Biden fucks up.

Trump is incapable of learning from his mistakes. Learning from mistakes requires realizing you made them.

Narcissists don't do that, they're perfect and everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault.

Narcissists are often highly successful. They don't get there by never learning. Just look at Trump in the second debate with Biden versus the first one. Clearly he is capable of learning.

Narcissists are also often self sabotaging.

Not many presidents have fucked it up so bad they didn't even get a second term AND got impeached.

And don't give me democrats bad etc etc, all presidents have had to face political opposition. Ultimately when you're president you're responsible for what happens on your watch for better or worse.

You know I think Trump said that once too ;).
