@JessFR. Trump won the battleground states he needed in a landslide against Clinton. It wasn't close. Biden won them by tiny margins. If it wasn't for COVID-19, Trump would have destroyed him... which, considering he is the worst president ever and a horrible human being doesn't say much about Biden.

it wasn't the covid crisis that doomed president trump's chances. it was his handling of the crisis.

Exactly. As I've said a few times. Arguing that trump would have won had no crisis happened for him to fuck up is a really bad argument.

Other leaders have won big at reflection by handling covid properly.
 
the electoral college is a flawed system america should change to what most of the western world has some MMP system that way even smaller parties get a voice and make a american prime minister and maybe u can have a president like the russian system.

Depends what the argument is. My argument is this: if all the other stuff Trump did is so bad, why did Biden barely win considering how much Trump botched the COVID situation? If all the other stuff is so horrible, why would he have won had it not been for COVID?

You're wrong. It's because nobody likes Biden. He's clearly incompetent. If they managed to come up with an inspiring charismatic candidate like Obama, Trump would have lost in a landslide.

Ehh, I wouldn't call this a landslide.

I was hoping for a landslide, but that's not what this is.

A landslide the way I'm defining it would have been well over 306 EC votes.

If you wanna define it with the national vote. We'll I'm not sure I'd really call that a landslide either.

If you're talking about the popular vote, it wasn't a landslide. It was less than 2%. But the popular vote is irrelevant. What is relevant is the last four battleground states that swung democrat.

Georgia=0.3%
Wisconsin = 0.7%
Michigan = 0.7%
Pennsylvania = 1.0%

That's a landslide?

If your argument was directed toward anything or anyone except directed at another member here, you would have been free to use any word you so desired so long as it didn’t violate BLUA.

We have to be diligent about enforcing our policy regarding personal attacks equally and unequivocally to ensure these threads remain civil and respectful.
