28 Days is good and Dazed and Confused is a classic.
Pulp Fiction and Fear and Loathing are my favorites. But what is REALLY good is popping in a Grateful Dead Show on DVD and it's the concert but all these trippy cool color shows play every few mins. It's very enjoyable when you got a buzz.

I loved 28 Days. I wanna watch Barfly too. Its another one about Charles Bukowski, I think.

I think The Man With The Golden Arm was the first movie about heroin addiction and it was very accurate. Everything from showing the pinned pupils to the withdrawal symptoms were spot-on. It even depicts the symptoms that rarely gets talked about like craving sweets/sugar. The director and Frank Sinatra must've done their homework. Things We Lost In The Fire also depicted withdrawals accurately.

Skezag is an amazing documentary about Heroin addicts in the early 60's or so in NYC. You get to see how they copped, the equipment they used and it's really amazing.

Thats the most underrated "Junkie movie" ever!
It is funny too, not romanticizing or glamorizing, but funny as hell, a great gritty dark comedy!
