2 weeks of round the clock press here we come. If he has a mild case they can spin it to not be a huge deal and push to re-open the country.

Trump has start kept his campaign promises as he promised as soon as he got in office, the wall is being built, I never seen so many executive orders being revoked by liberal judges, who despise Trump, I never seen one of Obama's executive orders ever being revoked and he wrote many.
 
What an excellent way to wake up the day to seeing his confirmed test results.

It’s not like he’s dead (or her), and if it was Biden or Harris, there would probably be a Trumptilla (where these go out on their boats)/white supremacist clambake.

And unlike Biden who tweeted out a nice message, Trump would likely mock Biden for getting it. Be real about it.


And when did @JessFR become the left?

I was just in the process of writing something about this.

I am having somewhat of an internal struggle right now over being happy about another human being being sick.

What I can't deny, though, is this human being is so incredibly toxic and has caused so much damage that it's a natural response.

This is even further compounded by his reckless behavior with the pandemic, public statements, never wearing masks and everything else he has done, so there is a bit of delicious irony there, too.

What I would never want to happen, though, is for actual harm to come to him. Just the fact that it's now undeniable to Trump that this virus is real and spreading and a credible risk and that he can not continue to downplay is what I'm grateful for.

I truly do hope he recovers, though, regardless of my feelings about him.

I think Trump will try to downplay the whole thing, even if he’s really sick, although I think just him getting it will shock some people into taking the pandemic more seriously.

Remember, Boris Johnson almost died from COVID and didn’t seem to have a “road to Damascus” moment in actuality.

This is more in line with what I'm used to hearing from the left leaners in here. Personally, I have a hard time wishing ill upon anyone and find no joy in it.

I mean, honestly, his behavior is so incredibly reckless (and he's the role model, people blindly follow him)

How can anyone not react similarly when the probability finally materialized?

I would think the only people who could be upset are the one's who didn't believe in the science and believed in his new quack doctor and everyone else in his administration who is constantly casting doubt on the scientific community and throwing out insanely irresponsible conspiracy theories.
 
Agree and he pops out 2 weeks later saying he took the vaccine. You never know with this guy. He will have to show his face, so we will know soon.

possibly, but anything is possible in this situation (and with this administration) as we've already seen

I'm also not ill-wishing him, but given he's possibly the biggest threat to planet earth in human form I wouldn't be mourning any demise either - also he's 74 so has had a good run...
