Better question, what can you do to a man with no integrity or morals, when such a large number of people know that, but don't care and support him anyway?

Trumps got a perpetual asshole vote cause he speaks to the asshole spirit.
 
So which one is it? Did the POTUS pay $750 in taxes as said by the NYT? Or did he pay more taxes than Bernie and Obama combined as said by Rachel Madcow?

We do know he paid more than Jeff Bezos who got a refund of 122 million in 2017 and 137million in 2018. Many people practise tax avoidance it’s called deductions and loses it’s perfectly legal. The dems are grasping at straws.

The president didn’t break any laws and used the tax laws to benefit him and his business. As most people do. Trump paying 750 dollars if true is 10000000% better than Jeff bezos who got refunds of over 100 Million in 2017 and 2018.

If you make 100 million dollars in a year, and then use those 100 million dollars to start construction on a new building, you end up paying $0 in taxes. Because you reinvested those profits.

Income tax is tax on your wages. People with investments, property, etc. pay capital gains tax, dividend taxes, and property taxes. Trump definitely paid taxes.

The only thing that I have learned from reading about this story is that the majority of people have no idea how taxes or the tax code in the USA works.

He paid $0 in taxes for 10 of the last 15 years, and $750 per year for 2016 and 2017 while running for president.

A reinvestment isn't a loss.

Trump and pals are engineering artificial losses to keep what they otherwise would have to spend in federal taxes.

Trump's father did this, it is well known and documented. Please get your head out of the MAGA clouds.

I get why people ask if they can have some of what you're smoking, it must be good shit.

NYT shows that not having anyone on staff that understands real estate, finance, accounting, or taxes makes them look like morons to those who do. This is an essay a middle school student who hates Trump would write up.

Show me an asset not worth billions that kicks off hundreds of millions in income. Depreciation deductions and recapture are a thing. They fail to understand the nature of how many business have wild swings from year to year. Tax incentives growing the economy with investment to generate jobs is beyond comprehension to NYT’s glorified fake news journalists not worthy of writing for tabloids, and peddling their litter box liners that I use for my cat's toilet.

Actually I don't wonder, at all. You'd be slavering with anger, and undoubtedly manage to throw 3 or more of the following angry catch phrases into it for no apparent reason: Muslim brotherhood, black supremacist, pedophile, homosexual
 
For the record, I think that unless Trump committed tax fraud, what he did isn't a big deal (even if he did, it's still not a "string 'im up" sort of thing), I just am anticipating a whole lot of blatant hypocrisy from his supporters, who I would bet large sums of money would be apoplectic if one of the liberal presidents/candidates they hate as fervently and unquestioningly as they criticize liberals for feeling about Trump, was revealed to have done the same.

Also, you know, if it's perfectly above-board to dodge your taxes through loopholes, then how come the other politicians listed paid their share? Are they just less smart?
 
the other politcians didn't seem to have as extensive businesses to dodge tax through like for example obama. I know many normal busineness owners who never pay income tax or that sort and put their houses and everything as business expenses this happens in every country and these loopholes need to be removed everywhere. Literally every country would be so much richer if they did.

at least 50% of americans don't give a shit about mexicans so thats why nobody draws up enough outrage and attention about people been locked in cages.

you have groups of americans that go to the border to kill mexican border crossers with no trouble from the law that has been going on for decades and nobody is outraged at that its pretty fucked but to be expected from the most racist nation on earth.
 
The powers that be figured out that they can continually fuck over the working class population, slowly eroding our quality of life, keeping minimum wage the same while the cost of living raises astronomically, giving all ourt tax dollars to the corporations and wealthy instead of to social services and infrastructure which is the entire purpose of taxation in the first place, as long as they can blame the loss of standard of living on something else. And immigrants/immigration is one of the most commonly-used scapegoats.

"Listen up people, we realize that year by year, things are getting worse for you, and we know why, too, it's the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS HERE TO TAKE YER JERBS, but don't worry, we'll lock them up, kidnap their children, and deport those gangbangers and lazy freeloaders, just you wait and see, give me another 4 years and things will be just like our propaganda says it was in the 50s"
