Social Justice Transgender and gender identity discussion

I have begun sensitivity training for my dog by wearing a dress around the house and while training her in the back yard and giving her commands in a high pitched falsetto voice.

Well at least I’m trying to, I can’t actually get her to come out of the kennel dressed like this. She knows something is not right and she doesn’t like it.

This question was brought up after reading this article on the DailyMail. An American man in Germany decided to wear skirts and high heels to work three years ago and has been doing so ever since. His wife has been behind him in support.

Most of the comments however say he looks ridiculous. Not sure I agree. Men originally wore high heels and skirts (specifically the European aristocracy) but it fell out of favor due to its association with its disutility.

I would do so but fear getting beaten up. I also don't know how much it would affect the dating prospects in regards to women. I've heard that the millenial women are open minded but others say most wouldn't be caught dead with a man wearing a skirt.

There was an article about liberal woman who said she "intellectually liked the idea" of her man crossdressing When her man did it and started enjoying it, she lost sexual interest.
That's the thing. Some people might intellectually like it, but when it comes to partner choosing do you think the women will go for the manly top dog or the feminine boy who cries about his fingernails?
Women are the ones forcing gender "stereotypes" on men and I have absolutely no problem with that. They say they don't, just like they say it's okay for men to cry, but once you do it, they'll see you as weak.
Other men will see you as a cuckoo, but women enforce these so called "stereotypes" on men with the way how they choose partners.
Clothes for men are meant to be pragmatic. Men do hard work, like lift things.
Using a dress there is not very pragmatic. You need pockets for work and stuff.

I think he looks perfectly fine. I mean, clothes are clothes, ALL clothes are unisex IMO.

I think it will be! It certainly fucking should be 100% socially acceptable. Even Religious bigots can't really say anything...'cause ya know, Jesus had long hair and wore a Kaftan.

If you look at the likes of RuPaul's Drag Race and the enormous impact that has had on making Drag mainstream, and there is a lot more positive trans representation in mainstream media these days, too.
I certainly hope crossdressing just becomes one of those things nobody even thinks twice about in the near future!

Yeah, um, 90% of men who cross-dress are not interested in women.
Also, this post reeks of misogyny.

Yeah, but the OP said he thought about how it will affect his dating with women and I explained it to him. I can post some studies. Can you post the source for 90%?
How it's misogynistic?

Ah, I see I missed that (I tend to skim posts and miss stuff). Either way, people should be able to dress how they want. If a wife seriously loses attraction to her husband over a fucking outfit, she's a shallow, narrow-minded idiot and he's better off without her.
Because you seem to blame women for men not having the balls to just be themselves.

This is not a new question. Not even in "modern" terms let alone the history of humanity.

Pink Floyd wrote a song about it in the Syd era:

No, it's probably not going to ever be socially acceptable. The question is why does it have to be? Just do your thing and leave anyone who doesn't like it behind.

Be free, but don't force your freedom down everyone else's throat. Everyone remains free this way.

Well, people get better socially by socializing with other people.
If you have extremely misogynistic views and go on dates with women, you're not gonna get very far.
This encourages the changing of those views.
This works both ways and is present in every social interaction we have. Let's say you're the kind of guy who likes to joke about bombing places. I'm the kind of guy, I find it really funny, but I realized very young that it's just not worth it to throw those things around.
To this day I found them extremely funny tho.
I believe it to be a genetic thing for women not to find men dressing feminine attractive. I do not believe women find extremely feminine men attractive, unless it's a kink.
The dress Jesus wore and what some Muslims wear to this day? It has masculine form in it and is not highlighting feminine parts of the body.
There's not the feminine spice on it.
I understand what you're aiming for with your points and it would be great, but I don't believe that's possible and I believe it to be naive view of the world which encourages kind of thinking which is pretty poplar among people who support the critical race theory, 3rd wave feminism and other postmodern neo-marxist ideas.
Just because most of men don't crossdress doesn't mean that they don't have the balls, it just means men don't like the idea of crossdressing. They like their masculinity, just like women like their femininity and women emphasize it with their clothing, which highlights feminine forms.
Men do it with their own clothes.

There is no practical use for a man to wear a bra. Well unless you were to use it in order to make your butt look better. Note to self: Butt-bras might be the next thing.

Not according to Kramer:

This might be the Autism speaking, but I do not accept Seinfeld as valid empirical proof. I guess I could accept fat men wearing a bra in order to stop rashes from ocurring. However, there is no practical use in being fat.

Allow me to quote Leon fro Mr Robot:

'There's this one episode where they go to this Chinese restaurant, and they're just waiting for a table the entire time. Like, they don't even eat at the end, bro. Maybe I'm overthinking it, though. It's really fucking with me. God, man, that Kramer dude, if I knew him in real life, I'd knock his ass out.'

TLDR: Kramer is the ultimate Doofus, never to be taken seriously ;)

We live in Ireland dude. You’d never get away with wearing a skirt and heels let’s be honest. If you want to get a beating then go for it.
