Election 2020 The 2020 Candidates: Right, Left and Center!

Obama was in his 40s and the Republicans and all the racists within their party hated him.

Trump is the fallout from that blind hate and prejudice. Heck, he capitalised on it.

Question - do you guys think Biden-Trump should debate for this Presidential race? If so, how (live on stage vs remote tele locations, w or w/o audience)? If not, why not?

I ask as I'm hearing conservatives whinge about DNC keeping Biden out of debates if at all possible, without any real indications from the the left that such intentions exist.

These two old men have seem to suffer from Alzheimers or something along those lines. Maybe people should start electing candidates who are 40 instead of 70 year olds who think the world is still 1950.

I'd be happy to, but we don't get to vote for whoever we want, we are given the choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich, again and again.

They should absolutely debate, to me it seems crazy that there would be no televised debate between presidential candidates before the election. I'm unaware of anyone saying they shouldn't but maybe they are. I could see some Democrats not wanting a debate to happen in case Joe goes all senile during it, and the result being that it would turn people away from voting against Trump.

I think they should debate, but there doesn't need to be a live audience. They can be filmed and broadcast on a stage with podiums as they normally would, with no need for a bunch of people to gather together to see it in person.

Is he saying all black people think alike? That's what it sounds like he's saying.

Out of context, as usual. Here's the full hour interview. I skipped thru it once (check every 30-60sec) and didn't feel like he's fumbling his words or thoughts. Gave a second skim, found the above clip in response to a question at 37:30 if you are interested in the context.

Just a general impression, not giving much listening time or depth, this is a good interview he did with a diverse panel. Without putting any Trump-loving-conservative conspiracy to it, it comes off very well IMO in place of a debate. He was given diverse questions from diverse folks and allowed him to basically put his views out there for public evaluation. Worth a watch.

I would've voted for the old guy in front but the old guy in back is the one who's gonna appear on my ballet. So I'll just do what I've done since Obama lied to me about change & hope and write in my best friends name.

Don't get me wrong he's gonna be on my ballot too, I just really get into my ballet and Joe's plié has been slippin'

Well the Hilliary people are certainly happy with the Harris nomination. The dream is reborn.

The only thing Kamala Harris was ever good at was fucking Willie Brown. I voted Obama twice for healthcare. I like that Trump started knocking heads at the border, and took Obama's pivot to China and shoved it down the Chinese' throats. If Biden wins and wants to have a national group hug I'm seriously going to shit in my pants.

I wonder how the Bernie Bros are going to take Harris.

Meanwhile, I wasn't sure about putting this in the meme thread or here. I suspect he's dead serious with both comments, but he lost any credibility long ago and I'm not aware of anyone listening to him at all.

Funny how the Trump people who love accosting the fake news is so eager to promote fake news of their own.

I couldn't bring myself to believe the actual group would go .com online. Maybe .org or something, but .com seemed off.

I did want to quote and reply, however, because the link you provided is f'n great. It didn't take a political stand as I read it, but walked through all the reasons this wouldn't be the Dems, and could in fact be anyone. It's a great lesson for anyone on how websites work, how the internet can misdirect, and how you can't really tell who is behind what. Great, GREAT article, IMO.

All the hand wringing, moaning, and fear put forth by the left about Trump not leaving peacefully if he loses the election may come true. But, can I ask what has given evidence that this is his inclination? To my memory, he won't acknowledge the possibility of losing and state a "If that happens..." So, I'm without reference to justify this assertion.

However, we do have this

"Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don't give an inch..."
