I wonder if Luvox could help me again, since it helped me during a non-anhedonic but severe depressive episode 2 years ago...
 
I got injected with 1600mg of aristada. How long will that take to be out of my system? It's better than Invega at least.
 
Drugs are only a slice of the equation. What is your life like? Do you have friends? Do you exercise? Do you eat a balanced diet? In thinking of your future, do you have feelings of despondence or sanguine? What is your relationship like with those in whom you live with? If you don't live with anyone, are you lonely?
 
it's pretty empty, but the main problem is either Abilify or even porn/masturbation addiction/PAWS

ughh, I have no idea - it's too complex and I just wanna be done with all of this. A quick, easy solution
 
You perceive the main problem to be, "Abilify or even porn/masturbation addiction/PAWS." You then rid yourself of your own complexity and the thoughts that come with.
 
I find i have almost no interest in anything outside of my work. I can’t sit through TV and i go to bed very early because everything seems so boring - i’m wondering whether this lack of interest / enthusiasm is from abilify

It is, I have the same, it's awful not to be able to watch tv to pass the time the poison leaves.

I’ve decided to start tapering off slowly to see if my interest in things increases. Also because 20 mg gives me terrible insomnia. I never used to notice it at lower doses. Being wide awake and bored witless is no joy.
 
I already notice the positive difference in interest and energy levels after stopping abilify completely for 3 days. Hopefully it’s not the beginning of mania returning. No negative side effects - which I presume is thanks to the 90 hour half life. Maybe tapering not strictly necessary.
 
Let me tell y'all , sorry deep south ,usa here, what happened to me when i stopped abilify!

Yikes! !!! Whoa, lets see , it took about 6 weeks to all come out of my system, and i went pretty crazy. Reckless behavior started immediately, i caught it within a decent amount of time, however ,am STILL trying to reign myself in after restarting it.. For me, and my bipolar ',lil self, i would rather be home in my guilded cage, than acting buck wild, going to my friend's cabin, staying two days, barely remembering it, deciding it was a good idea to go get some, crystal, probably 10 times at least ,hanging out w my old friends, just look , it was scary!! Im so glad i caught it , before I was sitting back in the drunk tank, waiting to be assigned a pod. Oh man!
So essentially,sorry it has you so ,well unfeeling, go and talk to you dr,asap! In the meantime, try and think about not being on it and maybe, as i like to call it "going sideways" ,or "ballin out" or " wanting to go sit on concrete (jail) , before you stop, ok? Talk to your dr! Good luck hon

Thats sounds positive. How long were you on abilify for?
 
I was on 10 mg for 3 years then tapered off and had manic episode then was on 20 mg for about 3 months to get stable again - but the side effects at 20 mg are shocking
 
Abilify withdrawal is the toughest bitch in my experience. The anger and agitation can really hurt you or those around you. Taper off very gently. Also, suicide hotline is trash per the testimony of a lot of people who have called. However in my personal experience it's more a hit or miss, depends on who you get, though most of the time they don't care lol

What was your dose? How long did it take you to go back to normal?
