Racist.
Alexander Hamilton said:
“The safety of a republic depends essentially on the energy of a common national sentiment; on a uniformity of principles and habits; on the exemption of the citizens from foreign bias, and prejudice; and on that love of country which will almost invariably be found to be closely connected with birth, education, and family.
“The opinion advanced in the Notes on Virginia is undoubtedly correct, that foreigners will generally be apt to bring with them attachments to the persons they have left behind; to the country of their nativity, and to its particular customs and manners. They will also entertain opinions on government congenial with those under which they have lived; or, if they should be led hither from a preference to ours, how extremely unlikely is it that they will bring with them that temperate love of liberty, so essential to real republicanism? There may, as to particular individuals, and at particular times, be occasional exceptions to these remarks, yet such is the general rule. The influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to change and corrupt the national spirit; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities. In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.
“The United States have already felt the evils of incorporating a large number of foreigners into their national mass; by promoting in different classes different predilections in favor of particular foreign nations, and antipathies against others, it has served very much to divide the community and to distract our councils. It has been often likely to compromise the interests of our own country in favor of another. The permanent effect of such a policy will be, that in times of great public danger there will be always a numerous body of men, of whom there may be just grounds of distrust; the suspicion alone will weaken the strength of the nation, but their force may be actually employed in assisting an invader.
....
It's more complicated than I want to approach right now - in this post, but I will say that I want more breeding choices to be white, for white people. And I find it's the best bet to stay close to home, more often than not. I don't necessarily hate anyone, outright, and my interactions are usually always nice/peaceful, with anyone (this makes the whole being racist complicated). But I do find issue with what is going on in the United States, and certain European and "European-made" states, with regard to the immigration from others. For instance, why do we even have a border with Mexico, and what is the difference between Europe and Africa if there is allowed expectations, and nothing is found wrong with it, that the natives of Europe (you can nitpick this) should be allowed to become major minorities in their own homelands, and that it is expected that it will be the new homeland of "all peoples", basically? With different groups voting different ways, having different interests; with invaders/migrants (not to blame them, but in another time such a mass number of people would be considered an invasion: this is a top-down thing done by governments, and people just feel pressured until they can't stand to be on-board, or else they're ooo-evil
racists, and concern for their own well-being, freedom, and future, and sanity just doesn't matter, or isn't paid attention to), how does this policy make sense? Democrats in the U.S. want foreign people coming, so that they will vote for them, because they will. Republicans in some sense, and well this whole thing, is now corrupt. My opinion is that the 1965 Immigration Act (Hart-Celler) should have never been allowed to occur, and that our most-sensible policy was actually what the first congress came up with: That is that only free white people should be allowed to come and live here. We (as much as I am "we" with them) also made a mistake by bringing African slaves to this country.
There should have never been the expectation that this should be a place for them. I really don't mean that hateful, but people are different, and we identify differently, as much as that might get in the way. As much as it's just circumstance, that we may wish to change, that we may see problems with, we do not identify, or orient ourselves, the same. We have different interests, even if we all just want water, food, and a safe place to stay. But White men also tend not to want Black women, but Black people in this country seem the least-concerned with staying in their own race. Different interests, conflicting ones.
I really don't know what the way to a future that I want to be in is. And I often think it's a good thing I just die, because the world is fucking insane, and mostly asleep. Find White people the best, for me. Just like, perhaps, a Jew might find Jewish people the best, for them, to support them and their way of life,
if they are faithful, or a "Muslim" idealizes, if they are faithful, Islam, and Islamic life - that perfect Islamic "last day"? While I think some conflict, and checking ourselves is necessary, some blending is necessary, usually this occurred in the largest numbers with already-neighbors. Right now it's like the pattern has become a Frankenstein's Monster, some kind of patchwork.
And I don't really blame outsiders for much. The misstep occurred far closer to home. And it's also a result of success. In some way Western Civilization has made possible a "Mega-City" over vast swaths of land, and it's no wonder people flock to them, especially if it's advertised as open to everyone - which is a big part of the problem. And it makes sense, with this idea of freedom, that some men would in competition with other men, hire more desperate people and pay them less. I don't blame or hate foreign people for coming, but I find it's kind of a predicament. I hope soon in the future some A.I. government will be established that will be able to guide us better than we have so far, that will know us better than we have known ourselves, and where we (everyone) can live without people pressuring us to feel or believe some way, where people can freely-associate, however they want, and nobody will really care, because all threats will be neutralized. A.I., free-energy, zero-scarcity, some kind of hyper-future, with high-technology, and also destruction of illness. But right now it's like we're being used. I feel trapped.
Racism is based out of fear, and wanting to protect (love). It's not unwarranted, but it can often get out of hand, and there are definitely people who don't deserve it (nobody really deserves to be hated). It's complicated.
It's more complicated than seemingly anyone is really giving it credit for anymore. The racist is just a demonic term. You don't want to be a racist. Whatever the response is, it's wholly natural. People are naturally insecure. Like a child, I modeled myself after people who I felt were like me, or that I could be like.
I have read of racial-mixing referred to as "confusion". And think of the situations in which people do mix in such high numbers. They are war, poverty, and for people of more-unlike cultures to move into alien ones, this is at some extremes. They will be used, by politicians, and corporations, and influenced in different directions. It's disoriented/disorienting.
Joe Biden commented on how the U.S., in the U.S. whites will become an "absolute minority" very soon. He said that there is an unrelenting stream of migration, that won't stop, and that we shouldn't want it to stop, because "diversity is our greatest strength" (something like this). Why shouldn't we want it to stop? What group has ever wanted to be replaced? But beyond that, by saying he doesn't want it to stop, he's essentially saying he doesn't want life to get better in these other areas, where these people are desperate to leave. And that's my wish - I really don't want to be in a position where there is hostility. I want to help, but I don't want to sacrifice "my child" for yours - and I shouldn't be asked to. Our own "leadership" is who I blame, if I blame anyone. I don't have to get into an idea of "hating". Again perhaps it's just a side-effect of "success". So many doors open, we thought they were all open-- all going somewhere?
I don't know if I said, but I think exclusion was good for protection. And if the U.S. was exclusive, if it could have been, for "white people" (with protections for people already here...), we wouldn't have a migrant crisis. It if was illegal to hire these illegal aliens, absolutely, if there was simply not a place for them, the border would be intact. Anything else would be an act of war, and dealt with accordingly. Africans and Arabs, etc. shouldn't be "welcomed" to live in Europe, either, not at the rates that they do go and live there (limited numbers, by merit...with rules, and no "family reunification", and only if integration is possible). The expectation wore down the defenses- The ability for these to be unique places, separate from the world. Paradise as a word means a walled enclosure... The goal is not really to just keep people out, to be mean, but to maintain order, and protect - to not create chaos.
