Also love a tax overhall but Im not "feeling" this yet. Go to a flat sales tax, income tax is immoral!
I think the french might have--they were the ones who paid qaddafi to keep the boat people away from their coast.
Either way, his passing is not a bad thing.
Curious if you feel that way about saddam or are you displaying full bias now?

Speaking of the death penalty, is treason still punishable by death?
You gotta understand, when the United States and the constitution was being written, there were fears of treason as a charge being misused as it had been by the British. So the charge of treason is the only criminal charge defined in the constitution and it's pretty specific.
As I recall, unless you are aiding an enemy country in war time, it's pretty much not treason.
But we want to know what it is that'll turn you within these four years.
Why do you think its bias? I thought you had Qaddafi confused with someone else, like Mubarrak. I still do.
Either way, no, Saddam Hussein was a bad guy and there weren't any tears shed from me at his passing.
SHould we have invaded a sovereign nation to murder its leader for no apparent reason? FUck no.
ETA: And if I said something different, it would be evidence of bias toward . . . what? Kind of apples and oranges.
I was being a little facetious, i just think it's outrageous for trump to call for the execution of someone that hasn't had his day in court.
The guy is a tin-pot dictator, and i'm pretty incredulous that how indifferent his supporters and apologists are to preserving democracy and respecting human rights.
I'm not sure what's happening.
I don't put trump in the category of a normal politician.
They are often cynically calculating, whereas trump is just a dangerous, undisciplined loose cannon.
I don't think he needs to keep his opinions to himself, but i wish he understood that opinions are not the same thing as facts, and that he's destroyed any chance of a fair trial in this case.
It's just one "new low" after another with the guy, but it's chipping away at democracy. The longer it goes on, the more damage he'll do.
He's unfit to govern, and he's got to go.
