Bunch of traitors. Far as I'm concerned conspiring with foreign governments to help win an election is essentially treason. I don't think it fits the constitutional definition but it fits my definition.

They all do this, and this includes political leaders from other countries that are not the United States.

Can you elaborate? I think that's a false claim and you're overlooking, downplaying or ignoring the seriousness of these charges and the revelations that are emerging.

I generally agree with you, but this is the life they've chosen, and if they die this they wouldnt have it any other way.

Its a bit like skydivers, yes their parachute can fail at any moment, but if it does, and if they die, then thats the life they chose and if you ask them I'm pretty sure they wouldnt do anything different if they had to do their life over again

Soooo much to post, but considering hard-core MAGA folks for a sec:

• they actually think a border wall will be built. It won't.

• they will have to connect two dots, but they might lose health insurance coverage (in their area, so their white friends as well) or face higher premiums. They will have to connect this directly to Trump, but they will notice they don't have heath insurance or that premiums are higher.

• if the government shuts down for border wall funding or some other brilliant Trump demand. Some of the Trump folks probably depend on the government for something and might be inconvenienced by its absence.

• Trump starts a large-scale war and his enlisted constituents are sent somewhere. From POWs, his draft-dodging, transgenders, grieving Gold Star families, to remembering which country he just bombed, Trump is incapable of showing real respect for veterans and those who serve. Let's just say disaster, quagmire, and horrible things will ensue.

• He's losing support just being himself, albeit slowly. He isn't gaining in any demographic.

First of all, we Americans are so used to having shitty and expensive health “care”. I mean, the last time I even looked the cheapest plan I qualified for was $400 a month. What do I care if that goes up to $600 or $1000? Can’t afford any of it. Since my State didn’t opt in to the Medicaid expansion, the only thing my government has for me is a big FUCK YOU.

And I again would just like to remind you...don’t underestimate Trump’s base. He has trained and manipulated them so well, nothing will stick. Let’s play a game. Try to think of a potential political problem that could arise for Trump between now and November 2020 that CAN’T be blamed on either Obama, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic establishment, the Republican establishment, liberal activist judges, Mexicans, Blacks, welfare recipients, the Deep State, atheists, Muslims, Black Lives Matter, antifa, or liberal scientists.

You also must consider the psychological damage it would do to a Trump Supporter for them to admit to themselves that they are responsible for putting the nuclear codes in the hands of that orange radioactive pustule. They can’t concede anything at all without risking complete collapse.

If Democrats want to have a prayer of winning next year or in 2020 they need to reach down their pants, find their testicles, grab them, and unleash the Wrath of Hell upon Trump and his acolytes. Or they could sit back, relax, continue being pussies, and hope that Robert Mueller does it for them.

Edit: now think of this...this is fun. United States. Year 2024. Trump has managed to survive all political attacks against him. Hell, people stopped even trying years ago. We’ve been having military parades for years now, we’ve created a state run media outlet to combat fake news, etc. Time for Trump to voluntarily relinquish his power. Does he? If he does, which puppet does he choose to campaign for?

I know where your coming from but I'm not so pessimistic. Trump has the lowest approval rating for any president at this point of his term. That teflon coating is gradually coming apart and Everytime he tells an obvious lie more people see through it. The Republicans are going to lose the house of Representatives next year then he will officially be a lame duck even if Mueller doesn't indict him. He's not a good enough leader to inspire a revolution against our democracy. We will survive perhaps wounded but survive we will.
I like the anecdote from the movie Traffic

When Kruscchev lost power in the Soviet Union he left his successor two letters to be opened when he got in a political situation he couldn't get out of. So soon enough he's in a bind and opens the first letter. It says blame everything on me. So he blames the old man and it works like a charm. So a time later he is in trouble again so he opens the second letter. It says write two letters.

That's Trump's fate.
 
I’ve never wanted to be wrong about something so much. My last paragraph was a little hyperbolic, but think of how much worse things are now compared to what we thought they might be a year ago. That’s one year. Trump could be in office for an additional seven full years. Think of what that means. To me, the collapse of our already diminished democratic government is not that far-fetched.

To address the the first part of your post, I would say two things:

1. The question is not, “do his supporters know he lies?”. The question is, “do they care?”.

2. Trump doesn’t have to inspire a revolution against our democracy. Our democracy is already compromised. All he has to do is speed up the demolition and watch it fall.

I am really cynical. I'm not trying to downplay it, even if I'm right all it means is the people involved should perhaps face even greater punishment.

I hope you're right and this is something new, it's just it really wouldn't surprise me. It happens all the time, some scandal comes to light and over time we discover its actually been going on for decades.

manafort/gates aren't the problem for trump. papadopoulos is.

trump is already trying to minimize him and deflect attention.

I think he meant all politicians commit crime. Then again, that may not necessarily be true, either.
 
Wasn't that the surname of Webster's parents? I generally despise Fresco's spamming posts but they do occasionally prove amusing.
 
I've been concerned about how trump would respond to a terrorist attack while he is in office.
Oh, besides the Las Vegas massacre, but obviously it's not called terrorism if it's done by a white person.
