Hello! I'm a regular MDMA user, as well have tripped on acid a few times before. Recently i've come across a good batch of LSD and so i'm able to experiment more freely.
Now, what i had thought was, because LSD molecule is so alike Serotonin, maybe taking acid after MDMA leaves the system / depletes your Serotonin levels would work wonders, both for helping with the comedown, and also for making room for LSD to penetrate deeper into the system.
Then a quick search over here and there showed me that candyflipping is already a big thing! Not quite what i had in my mind (i was thinking taking LSD 24h+ after an MDMA roll, when the body is most hungry for serotonin).
The common practice seems to be taking LSD first, then taking MDMA a few hours in, which is interesting to consider. I was afraid that taking them in this order would produce effects similar to Serotonin Syndrome, but after a few hours LSD should already leave the system, if not completely, so it sounds like a safe combination overall.
On the other hand, i've read reports of how MDMA first and LSD either 1-2 hours later or both simultaneously can be overwhelming. This makes sense, seeing how MDMA affects the Serotonin receptors, so maybe our Serotonin-like LSD does new and overwhelming things to brain? Hence why i initially considered doing LSD only after 24-48h+ MDMA roll.
Obviously i need to try it in the flesh to understand better, so i'm looking for experiences with varying timeframes, and maybe some actual research (highly unlikely).
tl;dr: How do you think these two interact in the brain together?
Love,
