so jared kushner claims vehemently that he had "no improper contact" with russians and, at the same time, claimed to have "no record or recollection" of a number of conversations.

if the second claim is true then he can't possibly make the first claim with any kind of authority.

so which is it?

Can you remember every store you've been to in the past 2 years?

Because if you can't recall the stores than you're obviously a lying thief.


That is basically the example MSM is pushing everyday, they know there is no actual collusion, but they are just butt hurt and biased against a truly superior world leader. ;)

I'm also very surprised to see liberals and leftist go after Kush when he's basically the closest thing to a liberal in the white house.

I believe their modus operandis is to always deny first and give an 'alternative fact' later, if people discover. As I have mentioned, Trump Jr. changed what he had said to the Russians four times (!) in less than 5 days. Pretty much like "no I did not" to "yes but I did not tell daddy". So yes he did travel all the way to Russia, meets with a lot of people to whom he shouldn't even be talking to and when The New York Times asked him what were his comments, as they were going to run his emails on the following day, he goes ahead and displays everything as if he had done it because he is so honest. He knew the paper was going to write about him, so jumped in and tried to change his story.

It's impressive how Trump's supporters had immediately said that at least he had the courage of divulging all emails. No, it was not courage, and no wasn't going to! He simply knew that it was going to be in the papers on the following day so he tried to take advantage of the situation and did it poorly, changing the history every minute. Why didn't he inform that when they were asked to. And to think that Trump had made all that noise about everyone being paranoid and all the news making fake news about him and Russia. So hypocrite. Lies, lies, and deception.

Theres room for any point of view on politics here. Well....I dont know about NAZIS come to think of it. Thats something best asked the mods first. I am pretty happy to not mod CEP though as there is an anti immigration stance which can read as racist because the current political stsnce is to ban muslims because they are muslim and while that might mean to safeguard against terrorists, even Trump puts it as anti muslim rather than anti terrorist, which is throwing out a whole bunch of normal decent people to remove the threat of a few.

To me it seems very racist to ban EVERYONE from muslim countries.

So yeah its pretty tough figuring out what is racist and what is not.


Ive tried to think of an alternative way of doing this. But I cant.

It does seem easier, safer for the USA to block the terrorist threat by not allowing travel into America from known terrorist hotspots. But what about people who are just like us who have no intention of causing harm?

Does blocking everyone from muslim countries foster fear of muslims? Yes it would.

I dunno. Politics is difficult to talk about at the best of times but is harder now we talk about Presidents who cant think about how they come across when addressing the world.

somebody here will just excuse pretty much anything the trump team does. seriously, what would he have to do for you to find a way not to excuse it? where do you draw the line?

his two statements can't both be true at the same time. their story has gone from "there was no collusion" to "if there was collusion, it's not a big deal" back to "there was no collusion" then to "i can't recall if there was collusion".

again, which is it?

There are many things that piss me off, letting the pharma companies draft an executive order is bullshit, shipping American car manufacturing to china is bullshit, but that's life.

In the end there is very little anyone can do, why let these things bother you so much?

^ he's clearly very worried about that. why else the posturing about mueller widening the scope if his investigation, his refusal to release his tax returns and, lately, all his talk of pardoning.

I believe he was the Mayor of NYC on 9/11, but i wouldn't consider him heroic - lots of new yorkers hated him for "cleaning up" (gentfifying, over-policing) the city.
I can't speak for new york, but i think rudy's a turd.
