Drug Slang! [MegaThread]

I've heard coke referred to as girl and. Speed. Heroin, I've heard referenced as smack, black, and H. Meth I've heard as ice, glass, crystal, G, and fog. Narcotic painkillers I've heard refered to only either as mints or called by their miligrams (i.e. "I got 20s of you wanna pop a couple"). There are so many for pot that I refuse to use slang. I just straight up say pot. I'll clarify street or medical if I have to. But yeah. I stick to the basics on the classic. MDMA I've heard called Molly, Candy, and Rollies. :3

Oh and I call cigarettes cancer sticks yaaaayyy

Sort of off topic but I was confused as hell when I was in rehab and everyone used the word "dope" to describe any kind of drug. I could never tell if they were talking about plain weed or straight up meth. Which is apparently the point, they don't want to make it some kind of contest over who did the hardest drugs. And I was there as an alcoholic who'd only done stuff like cocaine so I didn't know what was going on.
And they wouldn't say "dealer" they kept saying "the dope man" and I was like who the fuck calls their dealer "the dope man"? I just call mine Mike.
Lmao that last line made me lose my shit haha

"I just call mine Mike" ???

Calling Crystal Meth "Clear" (Like Others Calling it "Tina," etc.) OR Meth Nicknames

I recently heard someone call what I thought was crystal meth "clear," and they were not describing its appearance. They claimed it was another name for it, like "tina." But I don't know if I believe this person. Is clear something different, a different potency, what? Anyone know?

I have read on this site that highly cut meth can appear clear but, again, I saw what this person was referring to and it was not clear in appearance. Perhaps I'm just out of the loop and it really is yet another nickname. Would also like to know what supposedly crystal meth nicknames, if any, really refer to a different animal altogether, to a different potency, whatever.

Thanks.

Would love to know if anyone has an answer to this-

What does the slang term, "movies" refer to?

For example: "I'm only selling movies"

Taken from Bluelight's own Meth Wiki, which seems to have the most extensive list of name slang I can find anywhere online:

Crank
Meth
Tina
Glass
Ice
Crystal
Clear
Crissy
Go-Fast
Shards
Go
Whizz
Dope
Speed
“Biker Dope”
Fire
Gak
Gear
Twack
Tweak
Chalk
“Redneck [or Poor Man’s] Cocaine”

I'm gonna close this one. Drug slang and terminology is not something we handle unless there's an imminent issue regarding a user's safety. Language is constantly evolving and changing and I think you'll find that in clandestine settings, language evolves even faster than in other scenarios. Even crossing state lines, for instance, going from Burlington, VT to Boston, you'll see a dramatic difference in nomenclature, drug potency and etiquette.

So, as others have said, there are a ton of different names for Methamphetamine on the street. Some denote a difference in potency and some don't. It's something that you need to figure out for yourself, unfortunately.

Out of curiosity I find the subject interesting - maybe it could be moved to drug culture keif?

I thought "biker dope" and "crank" were terms for racemic amphetamine and methamphetamine, unlike the dextromethamphetamine that seems to dominate the US market. Maybe that's more of a historical thing.

Is "tina" more prevalent among certain user communities? I heard it a lot from a couple older gay men when I was in group therapy, and have never heard a straight person (in meatspace) call meth "tina".

I live in the southeastern united states. Don't know anyone closely who does meth, but I've been offered it in front of bars/restaurants and at concerts. I've only heard it refered to as "meth" "crystal" and "shards". I never took anyone up on the offer but I think it's funny no one's offered me cocaine publicly but meth is offered openly like a cig or something. I guess meth is cheaper per dose.

its the poor mans cocaine... if coke took steroids. up here in the midwest its ice cream or annie. lil easier to ask if someone knows a good ice cream place or if theyve seen your friend annie

Ice cream
Clear
Tina
Windows
Crank
Shit
Dope

However the last two i listed typically means shake'n'bake, not crystalm

Around here anyone high on meth is 'skating' and if someone asks you if you have an extra pair it's a way of trying to bum some of your stash.
