LOL at your stupid country voting this buffoon in. After 4 years or impeachment when Trump is gone, you still have to live with the people who voted for him. They still exist in ... U.S.A! U.S.A! U.S.A.! ROFL!!!! So gullible, Mcfly.

^ we don't have to live with them, they are relegated to shitty states full of heroin ravage, no jobs, no money, no beaches, no good universities, no culture, no entertainment etc.

^You'd be surprised.

My father makes good money and is all too ready to tell me about how the 'fags and the blacks and the mexicans' are trying to take over the country and steal our jobs. Are you kidding me? How the fuck do you get two masters degrees and somehow miss out on the true point of higher education; to create better citizens.

Trump has a strong base of support in my area and the mean income here is easily upwards of 80k/year. I really don't get it. I guess fears of minorities and homosexuals really struck the middle-class hard here.

We're definitely a split household. Mother is moderate, sister is apathetic. And then there's me, the anarchistic/communistic mixed liberal thing caught up over individual liberties.

Trump is now officially under investigation by the FBI. When he wasn't under comey.

Fuck yea...only a matter of time until this piece of shit gets taken down...it was a good day today all around...

Some bribe taking dirtbags shot and trump under investigation

Yeah. Well this made a brief headline by the way of Trump lying 24 hours ago saying he wasnt being investigated but then going on twitter saying the man who told him to fire the fbi director is investigating him for firing him. Trump wpnt get impeached over this, someone else will take the fall

This is what happens when you get a person with no idea what they are doing a job.

So if the USA has this system of government that allows that to happen and people vote him in knowing exactly what he is like then thats what has to be sorted out.

Who knows who will be next? Kanye West? No one thought Trump would win.

There should be some requirement of political life or being a public servant for some years before getting the President job. So Trump would know what hes actually doing and not make these stupid mistakes, lie about it, get his 2IC to defend his noobness and then blame everyone else.

Careful, we have a habit of exporting new trends and fashions, all over the globe. Almost happened in France.

newt gingrich, in 1998, voted to impeach the president for, among other things, obstruction of justice.

newt gingrich, yesterday: "Technically, the President of the United States cannot obstruct justice..."

more blatant hypocrisy.

I've heard, I think from fivethirtyeight, that after all the county-by-county genuine statistics were crunched, that income was only somewhat correlated to vote this election.

The strongest predictor of a Trump vote: if you live in the same smallish town, or nearby, as you grew up. This gets fed into college education: because you have to move, usually, to go to college; actual education attainment isn't as tight as the hometown link. The moderately wealthy Trump voters are "local notables" and usually appear wealthier than they are, given the local economy. They own the big used-car lots and a restaurant or two, get themselves in the local newspaper.

How you interpret that is the tricky part. Most people seem to think it means you just haven't met many people outside your own demo. I'd also think that a small-town sample enriches for people who avoid cities, for whatever reason, and that could skew results.

Who gives a shit who bangs who. The last 2 French presidents were known philanderers and their mistresses went out with them publically. The latest dude married his teacher! All this hassle over stupid shit. The pollies of today have forgotten THEY work for US. Stop spending our bloody money on investigating each others sex lives and just get on with it ffs.

Preach

It seems like almost every politician is concerned about getting reelected or moving up the food chain above anything else. That means tearing each other down over BS that has nothing to do with running the country. It also means their other big concern is having their pockets padded with campaign money.

I think it's pretty real. And when it's increasing you always get to know someone who's been through the same situation. Maybe they do scare people, why wouldn't it be a concern?

Just remember it's about who you count.
They can exclude seasonal, migrants, people on unemployment after an arbitrary amount of time (cause clearly they gave up), students . . . .
You can play around with people in the military ("employed" or "not"?) to adjust the number as you need.

^^Mitt= Willard Mitt Romney
Newt= Newton Leroy Gingrich
Not a lot of good choices here people...

Scrofula: Truth. You couldn't avoid the definition of unemployment when Obama inherited that sh**show of an economy teetering on the brink of massive depression.

I don't care about your political affiliation, no President has effected change on the nuts-and-bolts economy in six months, even with legislative accomplishments.

The speculative aspects of the economy have been positive on Trump but they are softening as his approval rating drops and his legislative agenda piles up.

As for Bill Clinton, banging of others and Trump, be joyful!!
President Clinton was not investigated for sexual misconduct or perjury by the independent counsel (now called special counsel).
Sit back and...well, read... a tale of impeachment.
Once upon a time, in a state called Arkansas, then Governor Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary made some suspect real estate investments. They also made some "errors" on their income taxes. These events were unnoticed for some time. (Like the Ring from Lord of the Rings.)

Fast forward and now President Clinton has weathered the sketchy ethics of Travelgate (basically firing some people who were NOT head of the FBI NOT investigating his campaign's ties to Russia).
The aforementioned real estate transactions with a company called Whitewater reared their ugly head in conjunction with the suspicious death of a lawyer named Vince Foster (allegedly an ex-lover of then First Lady Hillary Clinton), a presidential dalliance in the Oval Office with a intern, and a zealous prosecutor named Ken Starr as the tip of the spear that was the angry Republican Party collided in a very long, very expensive, very unfruitful investigation to conclude that during its tortuous course that the President had indeed lied under oath about his relations with "that woman".
President Clinton and his wife Hillary did not have to correct their income tax mistakes due to the time that had passed but they did anyway because it was the right thing to do!! Yeah.
Then President Clinton was impeached and, depending on "what your definition of 'is' is", he scraped through and lost his law license for five years.
However, he was not removed from office because that requires a vote in Congress. Think of impeachment like an indictment and the legislative vote like a conviction for those familiar with the legal system. ;)

tl:dr Clinton's impeachment sprawled all over the place and gave the independent counsel fairly free reign to delve into all aspects of Clinton's life. So Trump is now looking at that level of scrutiny and you know that man is shady. Oh, and these investigations usually take about three years... 2020!

You can continue your story all the way to Hillary's failed campaigns.

Today, we've all learned our lessons: investigating a sitting President for real estate speculation and bad loans (from a decade earlier) is just a waste. I mean, a little patch of land near the Mississippi, right? We're not talking about currently owning hotels in foreign countries!

OK, I'll point out that the Clinton "star chamber" was pure fishing for the AM radio crowd. It's one reason it sprawled everywhere and went from Arkansas real estate to a blow job (sorry, obstruction charges). I mean, making him squirm like that almost worked, they just over-reached and made him sympathetic.

Trump's could be handled by Judge Judy, with commercials. It's also FBI (in addition), not independent political theater. But he'll last until house GOP have decided it hurts their numbers.

Scrof,
Are we fighting, finishing each other's sentences, neither or both?
And let's not appoint Judge Jeanine Pirro!
I will watch with popcorn if Trump's sons, Donald Jr. and Eric testify. Oh yes I will! ;)

I'll be sure to quote this in 2020 after he wins a 2nd term eliminates future US elections, and again in 2021, when The D becomes emperor of the solar system.....

I keep saying, "you used to always be nice in posts, why can't you do your old tone, harmless and mildly amusing? And a lot shorter?" and then I remember all the meth, now the meth withdrawals, and think, no, that's not so bad, and then somebody comes and posts shit like ----^ and I get it (EDIT: the shit above your quote, I mean)

I'm a Judge Milian fan, Cuban Women with my Cuban sandwich. And my ropa vieja. (And Yes, she's a brown lady, Alpha Centauri. And a redhead.)
But Judge Judy would tell the Jr.s to sit the hell down, and that would be fun.

^^Tbc, I am not anti-Judge Judy. As long as she lets the sons contradict Dad and then tells them they are spoiled rotten and to sit the hell down.
I am also pro-female redhead Cubana with same qualifier as above.
