Manchester Arena explosion: 22 killed in 'terror attack by suicide bomber' at concer

I cant imagine if I was a parent that lost my child to a goddamn ariana grande concert.

Some of my best lifelong pals are Muslim fubar but I must admit the predominantly Muslim areas are absolute shit holes.

I grew up in an area populated predominantly by muslim immigrants and my first best friend was muslim, but I totally agree when they decide to turn an area they immigrated to into "little arabia" its only comparative equivalent is a inner city ghetto.

Some people have different ways of living and when things were different and and we needed mass migration to settle new lands it was possible to have segregated areas but in modern times that doesn't really work anymore. it breeds future problems, I just do not believe the cultures are able to coexist.

Besides Dubai there is zero american/european immigration into ANY muslim country......ever wonder why?

Not even an army just a group of insane Islamic idealism..
... Sad.. RIP too all that lost their lives. I just don't get it, what do they expect to achieve, if its fear they are failing imo people are getting angrier and angrier than scared. The Narcos tried terrorism it doesn't work.. Hitler.. So many sociopath assholes that recruit the young and ignorant.. Too all of the UK my condolences :( They'll pay

World history backs up these facts.

Not at all. Without a credible source, its just an opinion.

Ryan said Muslims have killed/enslaved more than any other group. That's a huge call really.

I'm not going to claim that Islam is the 'religion of peace', no religions are all that peaceful. I'm just not convinced that Islam is worse than the rest.

Those links are incorrect, and completely flawed and biased. But I would not expect otherwise from you. ;)

Are you even going to bother making an argument or is this sort of insulting 'rebuttal' the best you've got?

How are the links "incorrect"?

The risk of dying from terrorism is pretty small.

Hell, we'd save far more people just by outlawing guns, and the US is never going to do that. But we consider the (still small) chance of dying from gun violence to be generally acceptable. It's the "otherness" of Islamic terrorism that makes many decide to hate Muslims.

Instead of argue lets mourn for a day or two, regardless of where we live or what our opinion is? Cant we agree on that?

People still arguing about religions when they need to realise that a lot of conflict is fought in the name of religion but its really about the greed for oil money territory and power.

The sooner the real basis of all this bullshit is brought out into the open the better the chances are of actually sorting it.

It got fuck all to do with religion as far as I'm concerned. A Muslim killed 22 people, mainly kids and another Muslim (surgeon) was in the operating theatre trying to save them. Doesn't change the fact that something needs to be done to stop them doing it again, or at least try.
On the news it said there's over 3 thousand jihadis in the uk.. WTF can't have your cake and eat it, if they want to be jihadis that's fine but why aren't we kicking them out the country or better still killing them.
The Manchester suicide bomber was known and on a watch list. I think they should change it from a watch list to hit list, once theyre on it theyre either imprisoned or deported along with anyone who helped them.

^How would you deport this guy, he was born in Manchester.

Unfortunately the hammer has to come down now. Soldiers on the streets is not good enough, or a relevant show of force.. the real force needs to be proactive.

Tagging won't cut it either. We have to demonstrate we mean business or this will happen again. This is a cultural shit test and currently we're failing it.

Ban radical literature. If you access it without Home Office Approval, for journos say, then your door gets kicked in.

Monitoring is just not enough. The time for that and subtle approaches is over.

So you suggest giving away freedoms because of terrorism?
You want governments to decide what we can and cannot read?

That would never work. Never prevent violence. Not in yiur wildest Oswald Mosely dreams.

It's fuckin sickening that I've been saying the same thing for years and even when terrible things like this happen people too scared to do anything.
If during world war 2 a German living in the uk came out as supporting Hitler and the nazi party he would have been fucked. Isis supporters living in uk given house benefits and free health care.

The security forces know who to target so why not do everything possible to fuck them up in every way?
Human rights cunts get upset though.

Sj if its material on how to make bombs or how to go about killing people then yes, make it illegal like child porn. If you found with it then you in trouble, proper trouble, not just put on a watch list.

We live in the information age. What you are suggesting is just not possible.
Not even in the biggest, most thorough police state imaginable. Censorship doesn't stop people with violent intent.

So you suggest giving away freedoms because of terrorism?

Save your liberal hysteria mate, we're talking about radical islamic literature that only islamic individuals and journos want to read. I think we can afford to ban that - there is more than enough justification. Or perhaps you need another massacre of innocent civilians to help you see straight.

Banning this shit is what they should have done in the first place and not wasting billions on ineffectual surveillance and snooping.

When Islam matures then we can unban it again, just for you.

Ok so it won't stop it, but leaving them to get on with it will help it spread.
This kid probably got groomed and brainwashed over a number of years. Where and by who? Need to find out and punish them. Everyone he had contact with should be questioned now from friends and family to fellow mosque goers to people on his phone and internet history.
If they can prove anyone suggested this was a good think to do they should be held responsible and given 22 life sentences.

@ss
i'm not a liberal, and i'm quite calm, thank you very much.
For what it's worth, i put islamic terrorists and people advocating hard-line authoritarianism (as you are) in the exact same category.

I'm not so naive to say there are easily solutions to this serious problem.
I must say though, fair play to the far-right - the gleeful gloating ("i've been saying this for years...") is quite simply ghoulish, and true to form.
Never slow to take an opportunity to exploit peoples' suffering for their own nefarious agendas. Admirable quality that. Consistency innit?

your on the same thread as me sj giving your opinion but I'm the only one exploiting people's suffering, you make me laugh.
