This thread has definitely taken a turn for the better.

I'm nominating "shitcunt" for BL word of 2016 (also, the most apt adjective to describe 2016)

Definitely!

Bluelight ain't dieing, it's just extremely sick... ;)

Oh, and Shitcunt!

It's a number of people active during a specific time frame set by the admin in the forum settings. I believe Vbulletin default is 30 days but would have to ask an admin to check to see if the time frame was ever adjusted to specify a different window of time other than roughly a months time.

PS. Shitcunt
yep. we use the default of 30 days.

The support forums that accompany the DNMs are another reason for the lack of activity as posters have the advantage of discussing certain drugs and can then also mention specific vendors and pricing. However navigating tor can be painful so at least Bluelight has that going for it.

As has been noted frequently in this thread, bitching, blaming and whining is a favourite pastime around these parts. Normally this passes for local colour but when combined with a lull in actual drug discussion (inevitable for all the reasons also frequently raised throughout this thread) it makes for slim pickings as far as encouraging lapsed posters to return, even slimmer pickings for nurturing new members.

The relentless negativity is stifling enough even for those like myself who will always consider EADD their spiritual home online. I'm starting to wonder whether this thread should go bye-bye because all it seems to do is act as a lightning rod for the worst aspects of a once great online community.

How to move forward in a more positive fashion? Lay off the soulsucking cynicism and grindingly relentless negativity and rosy tinteds. Want a community reminiscent of whatever Golden Age your join date related to? Scrub the scales of cynicism from your mind and build the forum from the ground up. Mould and shape it to that which you desire.

A forum is nothing more or less than the sum of its parts. If you consider yourself a part - or would like to become one - then make of it what you will because like-minds will inevitably join and follow.

^Top post!

(Er, do we still have to say shitcunt?)

Not sure but just to be safe: 'shoutout' is what my autocorrect thinks I mean when I type 'shitcunt'. True story.

ah, sure. i have not seen that specific acronym before.

Hope it doesn't. First time I've been on here for a couple years but this is an important community. Needs to stay alive!

Bumped, just to fuck off Shambles and his "I'm starting to wonder if this thread should go bye-bye". Yeah, more censorship, that's what's needed.

In the meantime I look forward to the inevitability of this forum becoming majority frequented by Rastafarian women because, after all, 'be the change' is all that's required and there is nothing stopping this happening other than the laziness and lack of motivation to do so by Rasta women themselves. Which is bound to change one day. I bet they'll take CEP too.

Be the change. Blud.
