Does anybody else feel like xanax makes time go by a 100 times faster? Last Friday I took 3mg before a presentation that was supose to take 15 minutes but after 60 minutes I was still talking without realizing it. Actually in the end I had almost no recollection what happend the rest of the day8(

It felt like 24 hours passed in a flash.

Not much difference for me but my tolerance is pretty high. The phenomenon where you could not remember what happened sounds like benzo blackout. Hope you got a high mark for your presentation, no pun intended :) (moving to Drug Culture)

Omg yess. I've noticed when taking 4mg if xanax I'll blackout maybe sleep some and the next day it will seem like the previous day didn't even happen

I've only had this effect happen on opiates. Time certainly seems to move a little quicker.

On benzos time moves the same for me, or if it goes by quicker, it's because I can't remember jack.

are you new to the xaanax

are you new to this med.?...

i try not to blackout on bars, i'm planning on droppin a bar or two and drinking at the strip club with my brother this week we'll see what happens (i generally start riots when bouncers try to step) i can hold my bars and liquor though i'm on top bitch

Same here, only on opiates. I do seem to recall that back when I first started using benzos (mind you this is ~8 years ago, so my memory of that time is a little foggy) it did produce this effect. But it quickly faded, never to return again..

I think it's connected to the blackout state, kind of like sleep. When you wake up you might have been dreaming but it's very rare that you feel 'in the moment' in a dream. Ultimately you have no control over the dream and you just come round the next morning when it all wears off. Same type of thing with benzos.
