Hi.
Quick question, maybe somebody with knowledge in chemistry could explain this:
So lets say I have two types of amphetamine sulfate. Both white in color, both pure and washed with acetone, but they seem to have a tiny difference in effects and when tested with froehde reagent one of them reacts bright red and the other one slowly turns pale orange-ish at most but maybe you could even say it has almost no reaction.
So whats up with that?

It sounds like you have different reactions with different compounds. Unless you have tested the amphetamine with another lab technique?

Froehde says "no reaction" but may react red for amphetamine/meth

why don't you use a more definitive test like marquis and then mandelin -- red/orange from marquis and then olive from mandelin would be definitive for either meth or amphetamine

could one be methamphetamine and one amphetamine

Try Liebermann -- amphetamine is green and meth is orange
