Bernie Sanders

sure. for me, clinton is preferable to trump in the white house.

alasdair

Millions are going to vote for Hold Your Nose Hilary while at the same time expressing their disgust with her. People always complain about their candidate, but the extent of it is unprecedented this election year. Her presumptive nomination is truly ground breaking in that she has the highest DISapproval rating of any nominee in history. This is not sustainable voting behavior in the long term.

Looks like Bernie's hanging tough, for now. If he really wants to defeat Trump he'll run Indie. Don't let then run you out Bernie !!! You're America's oncologist now, cutting out the 2 party cancer in the body politic.

Yeah ArCi. It is extremely telling of the way our political system is broken in that a non-establishment candidate, and a person with an insanely high disapproval rating are going to get to be on the ticket.

@phil.mckeer: reading about the -2% liability that verizon has is extremely insulting to me. It makes me angry everytime I hear a republican, or wealthy person complaining that the wealthy fund everything. When you have enough money that you will never be able to spend it all in a lifetime you should probably start spreading that money out by actually paying a fair share of taxes.

Is it though? It seems like Obama is nothing but a band-aid. They've defunded planned parent hood in states, LGBT people constantly get their rights and bodies smashed in despite the laws in place, the ACA and other government programs like the EPA are underfunded and then denounced as worthless because of this. The only time we had any real progress was in the first year or two of the Obama administration when people where pissed off at GWB and the Republicans. In the mean time Obama quietly reaches across the aisle and approves republican policies he agrees with and criticism for it doesn't stick.

The ACA was Obama's creation... So the fact that it has been savagely fought by opponents which have limited its effectiveness somehow reflects poorly upon Obama? LGBT rights are at an all time high, the White House turned rainbow colors to celebrate the Supreme Court decision to allow gay marriage, and somehow you're criticizing Obama for not liberating the LGBTs? Let's see, what else has changed since Obama took office... Marijuana is legal in a few states and the Feds aren't going after them... The economy has pulled out of the major recession and is doing relatively well... But yeah, let's not continue his policies.

Yet Republicans still maintain heavy control of the senate and house and every part of government. Bad trade deals continue to be pushed, the DEA continues to oppress people, surveillance, drone strikes against innocents, rich people still have total control over our government while the poor suffer. Don't get me wrong Obama is great when compared to a Republican but based on his own merits he's failed terribly. It's time to end this constant "vote the lesser of two evils" eternal cycle we have going.

Hillary was the original failed established candidate. She is going to be all the worst aspects of Obama times 2. Not only that she has a built in shield on top of being a Democrat because she's been attacked for so long by the Republicans. No one will care when she gets the war machine going and no one that matters will protest her.

edit: As to the white house turning rainbow... it's a perfect representation of America. The same as us having a black or women president. A meaningless symbol so we can feel good about ourselves while corruption reins.

My man Bernie! Obama calls him to the Whitehouse today and tells him he's endorsing Hillary and he STILL vows to stay in and fight to the convention. That's what I'm talking about! A lot of people were worried he'd drop out after today's meeting. I'm glad he didn't.

If you believe the media Sanders is already unifying with Hillary despite going to the convention, he might concede there and give a speech as Hillary did with Obama before they took the actual votes. Disappointing but I understand he's not going to change his stance at the last minute, Bernies about integrity and those closest too him say there's no way he's going to run 3rd party.

Reading about Trump he's going to select an establishment republican VP.

So I guess my vote goes to Jill Stein. What a shit election season. So much potential gone to waste. Reminds me of '72. The people in power will never let any real progress happen through the system we have.

If you believe the media

I don't.

Elizabeth Warren is going on MSNBC tonight to give her endorsement to Hillary. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed to find out a politician's true colors after believing they were true progressives. She can choke on a dick.

I hope Bernie takes it all the way to Philly. Since when did a popular vote for POTUS matter anyways. It's all about the Super Delegates now and convincing them of Hillary's toxicity.I think she (and all of the candidates) should release their medical records.I'm convinced Hillary is hiding some serious medical condition after seeing that coughing fit she could not stop during one of her speeches. If I can find it on youtube I will post the link but I won't be surprised if she wiped that clean with her rag too.Now that I think of it,how insulting was her cheeky answer when she was asked about wiping her server, like we're a bunch of idiots. That says it all about how stupid she thinks the voters are.

When in history has corruption not reigned?

Not ever that I know of.

If I were in support of Bernie and I believed that he really was different I could not in good conscience vote for Trump and especially not for Hillary.

I think bernie should run third party, but i don't think that he will. I don't think he could live with himself if he caused a trump presidency.

too many idiots that would vote for trump in a 3 way i think. he maybe could pull it off but ultimately i think hes too soft to run third party. too nice and it would cause a huge shitstorm too. but the DNC isn't going to EVER give him the nomination and prob never were going to. he scares the shit out of people and the establishment will do everything in their power to keep him out of office.

The kind of bullshit that is been happening throughout the primaries should be really fucking alarming for the whole country. instead, people are watching reality tv with bruce jenner. so idk, i would think it would be more of the same in the general, more shenanigans, pregnant chads, having recounts behind closed doors, stations down, voting machine errors, etc. Hes been getting screwed by the media, election and state officials, basically hes had the whole machine working against him. In a way it proves what a pathetic excuse for a democracy this country has become.

Trump or hillary were fucked. WWIII either way.

but its going to be great when hillary and dons campaigns implode. I don't think either one of them has enough steam to make it through november and ultimately i don't think either one of them is very electable so he should stick around just for that.

I'd love to see him run third or fourth party. Anything to keep Hillary out of office. I think she is a psychopathic war monger and is very much out for the suppression of american freedoms. I think women would be total idiots to vote for her because she's a woman. That's the height of mindless idiocy. Look what happened just because we needed a first black president. I'm all for a qualified black being president and why I much would have preferred Mohamed Ali.:)

wrong: Doctors For Bernie Sanders

wrong: Sanders Scores Major Endorsement in South Carolina After Lawmaker Dumps Clinton (and he's black so you're wrong twice :) )

wrong: Legion of Tech Volunteers Lead a Charge for Bernie Sanders

wrong: The real life Gordon Gekko is supporting Bernie Sanders because of a basic economic principle

probably wrong: this one is hard as the search term is too vague. but i've been a successful consultant in the past (clients include Adobe and the Royal bank of Scotland) so i'll just go ahead and say you're wrong again.

wrong: Under Sanders, income and jobs would soar, economist says
