Need help please

The worst is probably now over, 4 days clean is indicative of your great strength and determination, which is to be admired.

Getting out and about, contact with the people who care for you and generally staying busy are also sensible strategies that help keep your mind off withdrawal whilst the distraction should help kerb the cravings.

You seem to be doing many of the right things to help yourself and I feel positive that you will get through these withdrawals, just stay patient and deal with life on a day by day basis so that thoughts of the future don't overwhelm you.

Some time in the not too distant future, you can put this part of your life behind you and emerge with many benefits, not the least of which is a greater sense of self-esteem that comes from overcoming a tough challenge.

I won't pretend that you won't have bad days, it is part of the healing process, but it is the best time to seek the support of the forum. You will definitely receive plenty of encouragement and reassurance. You are not alone.

All the very best to you, please keep us posted on your progress, which I do feel positive about in your case, but we would like to help in any way we can.

Good advices.

I wonder how things are now. Is it over, or still coping.

My name is also Amy. You are strong as hell. Im also an opiate addict.. just tried a detox off suboxone, made it to day 5... but couldn't take it. I regret taking what I took. You can finish this. End your struggle its almost over. Youre a trooper. An inspiration. Keep posting. There IS support here. We will encourage you all the way.

Sending love and good vibes, Amy. Keep at it

Indeed. I can relate to coming off suboxone, lots of posts say it's similar to Methadone. After trying few times, I finally got it.
It's all possible. Quitting is only a quick step - but definitely worth it! Hope you try again!!;)
