I am very interested in LGD 4033 but I am worried about permanent hormonal effects (I'm only 20 years old), I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge regarding SARMs and has any advice on how to use them safely. I assume a post cycle therapy with something like Clomifene or HCgenerate is important (any advice about the PCT would be appreciated).

I was thinking I might run a really short cycle such as 5 days and see how I do - does anybody think this would be considerably safer?

You're too young, you're probably not a competitor, you don't need it.

I'm not worried about competition type stuff but rather purely function, I've had severe muscle atrophy and though I've been doing the PT religiously for almost a year and have a good diet I'm having a really hard time putting on muscle and seeing any improvement in function (probably because I never sleep). Day to day stuff is hard for me - I'm not worried about doing competitions lol.

But you think that even conservative use of SARMs would result in testosterone issues down the road?

At 20 yrs old I wouldn't be looking at SARM's, but trying to address the lack of sleep....

I fail to see how hormonal modulators are going to help with any of that.

Yes, it's going to lead to testosterone issues if you don't already have them from the lack of sleep and probably whatever else. What's the extent of this injury?

Yeah I'm doing what I can about the insomnia but it's been a lifelong thing that got much worse after ecstasy abuse when is was 14 :/ The neuropathy is mostly gone but it's left me with very little muscle (amphetamines had already left me with very little muscle when I was a kid), so I was hoping I'd be able to take a SARM and workout and eat like crazy for a week and see how I do.

Some people seem to be having endogenous testosterone suppression issues if they are on a SARM too long and that is definitely my main concern. But I guess I was hoping I might avoid that with a really short cycle.

For....a week? Lol dude, you need a long-term lifestyle change centered around a calorie surplus and correct training and not poisoning yourself with recreational drugs if you do them. Hormones aren't going to do shit to help you. Hell, they wouldn't even help anyone that IS doing all that properly. Your focus needs to be steered away from this and more on to diet and training. There aren't excuses when it comes to this.
