2016 American Presidential Campaign

I agree. There is hope if he is elected. He will be in a position to steer the country back in the right direction.

None of the things Trump appeals to would matter.
that's exactly my point.

gm is right. the kind of people who are voting for trump are exactly the same people that are exploited by trump and his cronies so they can be rich. they're all voting because of a dream that, one day, they'll be trump when it's never going to happen (for 99.99% of them*).

alasdair

* an arbitrary number selected to make the point.

It was all over once the government learned the true value of mass propaganda during WWII. They've been getting people to vote against their own interests in chase of the "American Dream" ever since.

Lol as dumb as trump is he is less of a government lackey than Bernie by far. Dudes in his own world and his ego will hopefully drive him to surround himself with decent people to have a positive presidency. Bernie is indoctrinated into the ideas of yesteryear that didn't work than and won't work now.

As usual, droppers doesnt have anything interesting to say, so its the usual trolling. Yawn.

So, Trump rally cancelled in Chicago, huh? Something of the spirit of '68 in that action :)
With all the reports of violence at these things, and Trump encouraging violence against hecklers, I'm really glad to see one of his events get shut down.

Trump rallies are one of the only places you can openly support Trump. I know I'd get in heat at my job, hell they have illegals cleaning the toilets and shit. From what I hear about school these days you might as well drop out if you're an open Trump supporter.

Now these assholes wanna walk in, get in people's grills, generally act like autists and complain if someone lays the smack down.

And what are they so angry about? Enforcing the border, in the interests of all Americans? Trade policies that benefit Americans? Protecting the 2nd amendment, the one thing that keeps us a little free?

Or are they angry that one man, by simply speaking his mind, has caused a massive backlash against the Maoist political correctness movement?

Sanders can promise all the free shit he wants, but if an open borders socialist is president and allowing the entire third world in, I'm not gonna allow them to prevent me from defending myself.

The shit going on in disarmed Europe with savages wandering around raping and looting would not happen under a Trump administration.

I don't think you Sanders supporters understand. We don't have 8 years to spare. There will not be a country with 8 more years of open borders. It's gonna be open warfare on the streets between patriots, cartel interests and possibly ISIS types. And I feel safe in saying that "feel the Bern" types are the least armed people in America.

You won't be getting any help from us. If you're girl is not a neon haired pansexual freak maybe she can be helped but not you. Playtime is over.

Maoist political correctness movement
Lol.
It's interesting how Trump supporters try to cast themselves as victims here.
People aren't pissed off that he speaks his mind, they're pissed off at his divisive, violent, racist, inane rhetoric.

The man is a con artist and his supporters are all being taken for a ride.
So in that sense, maybe they are victims - of Trump, not some "Maoist" conspiracy.

lol@ trump getting 20k supporters in one of the most liberal places in this country. I find it funny that he is to be held responsible for every transgression that occurs in the massive crowds of 10s of thousands of people. This is why the media is referred to as the liberal media fyi. Id be lying if I said seeing some of these jokers get jacked in the face didnt bring me pleasure, but the fault is with them. They are at a private event of their own free will. Also if the southern poverty law center were not bias they would label black lives matter to be the hate group it is imo

So, people who exercise "free speech" getting assaulted by a mob at a presidential political rally gives you "pleasure"?
This from the guy who bitches and moans constantly about freedom of speech on this forum.
You should at least try and have a modicum of consistency in your trolling.

Trump's provocations of violence onstage are disgraceful - he ought to be charged for inciting violence.
Or, you know - just get thousands of people to disrupt that nonsense.

in many of these cases the protestors take on the role of provocatiture akin to what the westboro baptist church does at soldier funerals. When you go to a angry group of 20 thousand people's gathering and provoke the person they came to see it doesn't take a rocket scientist to imagine the reaction. These events are private these people have the right to protest outside, but not in the private event. No ones trolling. Why do u think trump is so popular? Because people are sick to death of sniveling little cunts telling them they are racist, sexist, bigoted etc for simply voicing logical reasoning imo

Such language! I'm shocked.
You honestly think a rally for Presidential nomination is "private"? That's utter hogwash.

They are here in America. We have strong private property laws here and the people aim to keep it that way bro. The state owns everything there and it's fine if it works but that ain't American if I'm being honest. No conservatives go and protest Bernies little rallies and if enough did you better believe there would be altercations. Short of Woodstock 69 when you get so many thousands of people together you are going to have altercations it is just humanity. The irresponsible media using this to attack trump are the ones stoking the flames only encouraging more to go get in fights IMO. That said I would never go support trump at a rally I think he is an idiot.

No he can't, because just like his homeboy Trump whom he "doesn't support" every time he talks he's just shitting out of his mouth.

That awkward moment when you claim Donald Trump had 20,000 supporters at his rally and the venue's capacity it was held in is a hair under 7,000.

I assumed you meant the Australian government had much more control of private property from what you stated in the post previous
Can you be any more specific? Because i cant see where i've mentioned anything vaguely relating to that.

I realise that your MO is to derail the conversation by changing the topic away from your disingenuous arguments - but we are not talking about Australia, we are talking about the US presidental nominees.

I assume the irony of your position - that people saying provocative things getting bashed for it is pleasing - is lost on you, but frankly it is a very bad look for America.

I've always found the calm and respectful manner in which US Congress generally conducts debates to be dignified and pleasant compared to the way out parliament is conducted, which consists of people mouthing off and yelling over each other. It is disappointing to see this thuggish behaviour from a frontrunner of the GOP's presidential campaign.

It's concerning, frankly, to see the way this man can bring the atmosphere of what is generally such a prestigious (if ostentatious) tradition down to this level of encouraging his mob to beat people who he doesn't like.

It's not just protestors that have been assaulted at Trump's rallies.
And it's not just members of the public that are unaffiliated to Trump that have been assaulting people - journalists have also reportedly been beaten.

This sets a worrying tone for the future of your country if Trump were to win the election.

Nobody should be bashed for engaging in non-violent acts of dissent. Shit like that doesn't happen in "free" countries.
