Is there such a thing? I heard some guys talking about it years back but I can't remember the name. I know weed does the same thing but I don't smoke weed and I don't intend to. It just makes me tired so are there any supplements out there that can help with appetite? I eat 5 meals a day but I'm trying to bulk a bit. I want to try and consume at least 8 meals so if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it!

Hahaha oddly, I didn't get such an acute hunger response as most. But yeah definitely still pretty helpful.

Yeah GHRP-6. However GHRP-2 is still pretty effective for most, with less prolactin and cortisol and a stronger hGH release.

Prednisolone increases appetite but you just become overweight and moonfaced instead of increased performance.

Honestly I found that taking two vitamin b12 injections/week sub q increase my appetite significantly. Additionally, my libido is increased as well..

Love my b12 shots.

Megestrol acetate is prescribed as an appetite stimulant. Also, the drug Anabolex is a 2:1 mixture of methandrostenolone and cyproheptadine hydrochloride (periactin – an appetite stimulant). I found out that the word for a drug that has this effect is called Orexigenic.

Synthetic glucocorticoids are not something you should be experimenting with, use should be only under strict medical supervision for treatment of a recognised medical condition...

Also the old-school antihistamine cyproheptadine - ugh. That's something I experimented with back in the 90s when I was starting out and couldn't eat enough. All it did was make me feel tired and lethargic all day lol.

I'm assuming it's sides are due to being a first generation antihistamine? I take diphenhydramine daily for allergies and no longer get the sedating effect of it, could tolerance build to the sedating effect of the one you mentioned? I'd assume tolerance would probably build towards the hunger effect as well but I'm willing to give it a shot lol.

Since you're already tolerant, you might be ok with switching to periactin. Just beware that some first gen antihistamines can suppress natural GH.

I saw all over the internet when I typed in "growth promoters" used for livestock that they are using antibiotics for this purpose, although it may no longer be allowed. Supposedly it changes the microflora environment in the gut somehow making more nutrients available for absorption?

They're mostly used because industrial farming is so incredibly unhealthy to livestock that without antibiotics they fall prey to disease and opportunistic infections very easily. By reducing the load on the immune system, it effectively promotes LBM gain.

It's not something a human should consider even for a moment. Screwing up your bacterial flora with antibiotics is likely to leave you very unwell indeed. Also, moves are afoot to try and reduce or even ban antibiotic use in livestock since it's been causing bacterial resistance to develop worldwide, with potentially catastrophic consequences.

^This. You can give yourself an opportunistic, resistant infection simply by not taking antibiotics as prescribed. If you don't finish or maintain proper blood levels, there is periods where bacteria with some degree of resistance can recover and eventually become tolerant to the therapy, leaving you much worse than before... (the same thing happens with chemotherapies and cancer pretty frequently)

GHRP-2 would always help my appetite, but after a while it doesn't work as well. Do not use it if you won't have access to food in less than a half hour, as it induces hunger so strong it can feel nauseating, like if I don't eat now I'm going to die (for me at least)
