If you could walk in another person's shoes,....

Haha, the word 'cunt' can be massively degrading, especially if proceeded by the words 'massive fucking', but it can also be complimentary and tolerated, as stated. I love the word, for both reasons. It's a versatile cunt.

I also love the word "cunt" - it's how and when you say it. I swear like a trooper, adore it as long as I remind myself its not professionally appropriate in certain circumstances. It's so creative %) ... Especially coming from a supposed "middle-class" suit type :D

You can take the scheme out the girl but not the girl out of the scheme =D

I'd like to walk in Buddha's feet. I'd be a better person for that even for just a second.

Yeah, it's not a word I'd say to my mother, but it's generally used/tolerated by most people I know. As you said, it's all about the tone of voice. I reckon Scottish people have a hard time making it sound friendly, though. ;)

I'd like to walk in my son's shoes for a day, to see what he has to put up with from people at school, etc. and just to have a good spy on him. Haha.

^
Treacle I didn't know you had a son. Yep, it would be amazing to walk in his shoes for a day. Mine are too old and I'd not like to walk in their shoes. I'd feel it was a violation of their privacy but hey they're 26 and 28. You would want your mum doing that; would you!

A little one is different, you are so much more protective, it would be intimate and make you feel secure for them.

Btw I disagree about the Scots using the word "cunt" - I think it's easier for us. We have such vocal differentiation we can get away with all sorts of bull ;) That's the great thing about the Scottish language and dialect it's so open to interpretation, humour and creativity.

He's 12, so I reckon it'd be interesting to see what his typical day is like. I wouldn't trade shoes with him, though, because if he saw what I got up to, I think he'd be a bit concerned.

Yeah, I've been to Stranraer, a few times, and the people there were pretty fucking amusing. I know what you mean about how versatile the language is, and the bits you've just made up are certainly different. Haha. It definitely gets more humorous, the further up North you go!

Wow 12 - I didn't realise you were getting such an old cunt :D I still think of you as a young' un lol.

I bet he's be more concerned about you than him! My 2 give me some right "talks" 8) about my misbehaviour. The youngest in particular is very anti-drug and a bit of a health freak :| He's a great man though, they both are, I'm so proud of them.

I have family down in Stanraer! Part of the mad Irish contingent. They have a language all of thier own down there btw. A bit further north near Glasgow it's different. However, Stranraer is beautiful, rural and a good place to live - it's healthy 8o I love that the best pub in town is called the Pub :D

12 wow! You are an old git ain't you <3 Bet he's as clever and wily as his dad ;)

I know, I feel pretty old! I remember posting on here, to let people know he'd been born. I am young, I just think that music was better when I was younger, and the youth of today are a disgrace. ;)

It must be weird having a son that's anti-drug. I bet that can get irritating!

I'm pretty sure I went to 'The Pub'. Stranraer's a pretty small place, with only one 'club', which I can't remember the name of. It was pretty terrible, actually. Everyone knew everyone's business, like most small places, and it almost made me glad I live in Rochdale. :D

Yeah, he's bright enough, I suppose. ;)

I'm going to be 50 in April 8(

You'd think I'd be behaving myself by now! But A my anti-drug youngest is just magic with me, very funny, caring and the epitome of HR (yeh A what did you spend that £30K on in uni lol :D). I do love his lectures 8) He just loves me and doesn't want me to come to any harm. My oldest L is very musical and much more laid back and arty and is ok with whatever I need to do :) I'm a blessed mom <3

You never think of your kids growing up and having their own opinion about you as a person - but they do.

I like the odd new thing musically, but the older I get the further I go back with music. I'm a total jazz buff these days and my oldest introduces me to such to a lot of new stuff.

Not been to a rave or great festival since connect in 2007. Though I think Felix and I went to some festival in Amsterdam after that..which was a cold affair in comparison to what happens in the UK.

'You're bound to have gone to the The Pub in Stranraer - it's the only bloody place to go! Great Indian restaurant down the road from there.

I'd have no idea what living in Rochdale would be like - bet you all speak funny :p What are you doing with yourself these days?

They sound like good lads, glad to hear. Mine is brilliant. At the age where I can watch The Walking Dead and stuff with him, and he's absolutely enthralled by it. I can see the teenager itching to get out, and it's a bit worrying. I was smoking fags at 11 and weed at 13, and it's scary to think he might soon be doing the stuff I was doing. He's too young to start that (he said, hypocritically). I'm still not mature enough to handle my own use! Haha.

Oh, I still go to raves once or twice a year, and I've started going out with the younger lads from college, and gently introducing them to recreational drug use. Most of my mates that are my age are having kids and getting married, but I've done the kid thing, for now. I'm off to uni in Septemeber, to do a degree, to answer your question (after I've finished the last 6/7 months of my diploma). I decided that after so long of being a druggy with anxiety, when the anxiety started to really improve, I'd just be a functional druggy, and it's working out bizarrely well. ;)

Rochdale is shite, by the way, that's all I can really say about the place. Haha. Hope you and Felix are good. <3
