Gibberings Episode CCIV - A New Hope

When the opportunity to purchase a Miele washing machine arose, I grabbed it with both hands. Is there such a thing as a "prosumer" washing machine? Anyway, it's semi-industrial in terms of build quality. It looks as though it will happily outlast a series of cheap washing machines adding up to the same amount of money it cost .....

Aye, fresh laundry is great when its all done, dry, ironed and folded away. The journey there takes quite a bit of work....:\

Are you going to be able to get a new washer soon Engz? My sons use the local laundrette in Wedgie and find it very cost effective as everything is dried and folder hot = less wrinkles.

Snollz I mostly dry indoors in the spare room and have a sprung pole across the hall that that I can hang things on hangers. I use winterdykes too and have one of those peggy things to hang smalls. Ikea do these great over the door hangers too that can be removed or folded up.

As long as you keep the house aired and a window open when you're drying indoors, it should keep the dampness down.

I only iron for work wear and things for when I'm going out done up. Otherwise I'm all about jammies and eh "leisure wear" at home lol.

Ah spare room, there's an idea! Ours has a fuck off big window in it too, dunno how I didn't think of that. Appreciate the pic also =D And the word 'winterdykes', how have I never heard that before?
 
It's fixed now K... It was out of action for about a week but the man came on Xmas eve and fixed it. That's why I had so much to do over the Xmas period..

Ive been looking at the form for the uniform washing tax rebate and it looks long winded. Apparently the trade union will do it for you but they want 40% of the money.. Hardly worth it after that.

I use the Aussie 3 min miracle reconstruction stuff and Argen shampoo inbetween, but its not enough. I've had a full head of bleached highlights 4 times in the last year to blend in my grey (shut the fuck up babysprout) :p The last time she put a sliver toner through it hence the silver products now. It's working but the condition is over processed.

And a winterdyke is just as it sounds - a dyke you use in the winter to dry your clothes on. Mostly a wooden one, not like a dry stane dyke :!

I've started using that aussie stuff n argan oil for my extensions. I usually use pantenne for normal hair n it has my shine shining with vo5 shirum but pantenne does not hep my extensions at all.

I swear by vo5 sirum when my hair was affected by bleach.

Cheers evey, I've tried the Pantenne range and it doesn't work for me but not the VO5 lines. Quick google and I see they have a good range. I'll give that a go thanks.
 
Get a shower cap, Kate, and sleep with the conditioner or preferably coconut oil in over night! It's messy but will help tonnes when it's all washed out!

I just went back to black and need a good condition.
 
Yeah normal conditioner all night works. I didn't think of a shower cap as i just used foil.

How was your first day back?
