Gibberings Episode CCIV - A New Hope

I am Evey, we normally head out into the desert build a bonfire and just have a laugh (you can normally just see fires around you - over hear the odd shout, waft of music etc). This year were actually planning to stay at home, light a couple of bbq's (to keep us warm) and just chill with some music, food etc.

Might sound exceptionally boring but, going into town at this time of the year is not only stupidly priced but also a bit risky due to the increased threat level - there will be an increased amount of troubles etc (It's pretty unstable here at the moment).

What are your plans ?

Bear

That don't sound boring at all, sounds like fun!

I'll be staying at home as usual. I'm a single Mam. Aint beeb on a night out in 6 years lol.

I can't wait for my 3fpm to arrive. Really struggling to read half the posts on here.

A night out on Hogmanay, or a night out in general?!

Staying at home is what were doing :) - we could be doing anything in any country (we hate fuss and the almost forced idea of how to have fun). I know that you have your daughter and lately you have spent your free days chatting on here. Does going out for a few drinks, club etc not factor into your day to day life?

Sounds perfect bear , I couldn't think of anything worse than any town centre New Year's Eve ( I'd kill some cunt. ) me and my muckers have our night out in between Christmas and new year ( tomorrow ) nice and chill and ,straight up to the ramp without drunken pricks spilling drinks all over you.

Do you never organise a babysitter or have a family member look after your daughter Evey? You need to have some 'you' time once in a blue moon.

Edit: re. New year - I always preferred a house/flat party at Hogmanay. New Year's Day on the other hand was always a good day as its my dad's birthday, so it was traditionally a big boozy family day

Why not get yourself a baby sitter evey , having our daughter hasnt stopped us going anywhere.
once a week we go for dinner.
I allow her out that room (don't know what it's called )but food and beer come from there. She gets the night off everything ,
Apart from me , probably what she really wants.

Hear you on the fuss and forced fun thing, we're spending it with a couple old friends of mine that my partner gets on with well. Don't think there'll be much boozing which suits me, will just take some nice weed down then go chill at my parents for a bit before we go back, am at work on the 2nd so :(

Settling back into real life after spending the past nine days or so away, man I want to move house.
