When would you like to start then ? People forget that this is a chat forum where people come for information, a laugh and just for the sense of knowing that we actually have a place. Nobody is perfect, we all fuck up, we all say and do things that we later thing, maybe I shouldn't have done that. The problem is that people seem to want blood over something that IRL we wouldn't give two fucks about.

I honestly hope that a lot of lessons have been learnt from this last episode, and moving forward it would be great if people could just show a small amount of compassion towards each other. This certainly does not mean that we all have to like each other, but we certainly do not need to dig stuff up from last year just for arguments sake.

Man?" Just because they won't ban ME for them. I have TRIED to get on with this group of posters but it feels to me that tbey are trying to be dictatlrs not the mods, trying to for ce the BL staff to ban me instead of just using the ignore feature.

Can you understand how incredibly frustrating this is for me? I've done everything in my power to change my behaviour n this hroup of people don't seem to care either. Do you even realise how difficult it's been for me to try n change this? Yet I have because I love Bluelight n the people here n yet this group still wants me bannef n is kicking this fusd over it. Do you even see how absolutely cruel n mean thst is to treat me that? I'm not the enemy I'm amother poster.

I PMd those posters to try n put all this behind us n move forward for the sake of the forum n the posterd here. Bob i even sent a PM saying thank you for his concern when i was permabanned. None replied. What more can I do? :(

@Max - Aye, usually we finish up on Xmas Eve, but for some reason it's different this year. I think it's because we are coming back in on Monday 4th when for most people it's a public holiday. Pubs will be packed, it will be proper old school boozers we will be hitting, not wanky bars, so it will get me right into the festive mood. Last time I was with work colleagues on a night out one of the old dogs offered me a line of coke, it was a bit of a shocker, kind of like doing coke with my dad. Anyway, I took him up on his offer and we hoovered up a couple of lines together in the toilet, it was not bad ching either! He let me have another cheeky line later in the night as well.
 
I would have done exactly the same thing Evey and if people were being honest they would be saying the same thing (not many people will let a friend suffer when they can help). Given your history around the place its natural to think that this act carried favor on your behalf with Scotchy (and even the mod team).

Whats worse is a private matter, shared in confidence is now being plastered on a public forum.

What's worse still Bear is ex moderators who don't care about the sites (ex) members leaving by the droves due to their dissatisfaction with the way we were going.

Unlike you guys seem, I'm am very greatful for the things i learned from these people, whether it was about drugs, politics, travel, whatever. Met quite alot of people from here back then, fastforwards to now and I wonder how many of the people currently posting in this thread would want to meet each other? Sense of community or unity when you remove the screen from the equation's probably not so good.

I'll leave it here, mods if you want to discuss this. And if Sadie feels like replying anytime to my posts in this thread today, or Shambles to the PM I sent him days ago, feel free. It would be nice to see them take accountability and consideration for something, rather than the usual enraged post which says answers absolutely nothing as I've become accustomed to as of late.

As for what you want for EADD, I absolutely want the same. To lay the exodus solely at the moderators feet isn't right though, a forum is the mass of its parts, it's "your" forum and subsequently shaped by its members. It's yours and everyone's to make. Some left because of Evey, yeah, she has made big improvements since then imo. You're still here, you've obviously found a way to post around her. There's an ignore feature, although not perfect in its function offers some help. We aren't all going to get on, that's a given, should someone be excluded because they don't fit the clique, no I don't think so. We should be as inclusive and tolerant as possible.

I've tried being nice to you even after the cruel n vindictive thing you did to me last week - pasting my private E-mail. When are you going to let up on me with this vendetta you have against me? Yes I agree Evey has made big improvements. She'd make even bigger improvements if she listened to people with what they're saying about these RC's, but she will get there.

Not everybody used to get on, and for the forum to remain great in my 10 years browsing here I've seen this type of discussion repeated alot (minus the missing members) and conclusions have been reached.

We're on the same page now I think. What needs to change is the group of mods IMO, in many ways you all seem of a similar school of thought. Which doesn't really provide for comprehensive decision making. Sadie for one would be better as a member rather than moderator, too many discussions closed, little knowledge of the subject title of the forum. The reason PTCH left he said, that and Evey at the time. From a young guys point of view it sometimes feels like a middle aged forum with little injection of any epic stories and lots of over the top niceness that just seems desperate to me personally aswell.
Doesn't do the forums credibility much good from new onlookers, I do not mean to be offensive with this but at some point you have to put egos aside. The mod team itself needs an injection of someone who does a bit of partying, knows alot about HR, like what Sprout has in Chemistry terms and experience of hard drugs, I would propose Treacle would probably shake things up for the better in terms of having a laugh and some happy go lucky kind of chat. Xmas day at the folks, my uncle, sister, brother-in-law and my nephew will also be present. Gift exchanging, Bing Crosby, traditional turkey dinner, few swallies, I imagine we'll stick a box set on like Still Game at some point. We usually all take a turn and play a tune each on Spotify when everyone gets a bit merry. Should be a good day, it's my nephew's first Christmas as he is only a baby, so that will be nice.

What about yourself?
 
So Birmingham's Christmas market is a lot lot bigger than I expected it to be. Feet wreck now but they definitely know how to do booze and food and it was great drinking out of huge glass steins and having large German men shout 'ID CARDS' at us whenever we ordered beers.

@sid - I think you're idea of what a mod does is a little skewed. So say for instance, Treacle becomes a mod, what's he going to offer the forum that he can't now?? If anything he'd more than likely offer less to the public forum as more time gets spent behind the scenes..

As for your want of war stories from the previous nights drug piggery at the Hacienda, id love to hear them too. What's that got to do with moderators?

I don't follow you with egos being put aside? Where are these inflated egos? Again, a forum is the sum of its parts, it's not made by the moderating teams dynamics. Belive it or not but not many folk actually want to mod the forum, reason being is that your damned if you do and damned if you don't.

As a team we don't all agree on everything, granted we are fairly similar but we aren't all jerking each other off as some would believe.

As for Sadie, you're entitled to your opinion but I'll disagree, you don't see the work she's put in behind the scenes and she goes above and beyond imo. If you've issue with a decision she makes then bring it forward for review.
