Word, been feeling the need to do the same recently. Had a bunch of tabs sitting in the freezer for nearly a year and not had any desire to touch them until recently, it feels like it'd be a good idea in the coming weeks and my partner said the same unprompted so just gotta decide which to go for and clear a day aside.

Really enjoying writing this essay, fucking love all this Renaissance/Medieval shit, but could do without the bearded dragon scrabbling at the glass on her tank. She never does it but today it's been constant scratching until I let her out, whereupon she'll start scratching to go back in. Little shit is just sat staring at me no you can't come out, tiny dragon, I'll forget you're here.

Me too actually, my pal said he had 10 tabs of acid (apparently the real deal) and one has 'my name on it'. That was over a week ago, there is a good chance that he may not have kept his word, haha.
 
Its good for the soul i reckon. Tonights psilocibin adventure was totally unplanned and out of the blue but i have had an absolute ball listening to music and hanging out here. Plenty of mushies left so i will dry those out for a later date. I love gold tops. Bloody awesome fungi.

I love the renaissance. I also use that word whenever I am having a fresh start at something (renaissance = rebirth).

Nah, I'm studying English! It's on witchcraft sceptics/critics in the late 1500s and their use of the dialogue form to persuade/alienate their audience. I wish I was doing art sometimes, be a lot more therapeutic I think but I do love getting all up in words and stuff. That said I'm having a spliff and beer break now, latent learning disorders and the internet have ruined my attention span.

I switched from English and Film, to straight film.

Big core text - Christian Metz 'Film Language, semiotics a language of the the cinema' The man's life's work trying to create a coherent, consistent grammatical structure for the moving image - 300 odd pages - bout 10 from the end he coups and says its not possible almost apologetic for trying.

Ha, I did the same at college so need to give that a read, can only imagine the feeling of that realisation, poor bugger. Beowulf was a fucker aye, preferred Sir Gawain and his ridiculous adventures. That said, I'm studying Old Icelandic next semester as part of a module of Viking Myths and I'm really looking forward to that.

Cheers, aye I feel I do it's been ages since I moved here, gonna get me degree next year and then on to real life! Well, real life with a job I hopefully enjoy more than my current one anyway. Essays are a fucker, if you're into it like I am now it's an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon but if you're not into the subject matter it's like pulling teeth. Hey ho, not long to go!
