Not long come back from a sunny road trip in the van picking up stuff for our new flat woohoo
 
Just got me some new reptiles, a wee amelanistic corn snake who is absolutely adorable and a similarly wee dragon called Oscar who's six months old, eats like a fucking hoover and has an uncanny knack of locating his viv wherever he is in the room.

edit: pretty sure i can feel a fucking bitch of a cold creeping up, def need some whiskey

When me and the Mrs first moved out it was amazing- we didn't even have a disagreement for at least 6 months. Mind you we more than made up for that peace shortly after during a very rocky period relationship wise. Overall was a good move for us and was the next logical step.

Ideally (for me) I'd live with the mrs 4/5 days a week, then retreat to my own place for a couple of days and enjoy time to myself and so on- sorta part time living together. As I said, that's ideally, irl I don't have my own place and it just wouldn't work out like that.
I don't suppose there's any eadders in a long term relationship who have this luxury by choice?? (I don't mean still living parents either)

I always said I'd never live with anyone again after I moved out of a shared house with six other people but I met my missus and it fell into place. We don't do each other's heads in but I like me own space, sadly we only got a two bedroom at the mo but the spare room is my little hideaway with all me books and that and her's is the living room with all the games and between that and working we do alright.

Want my own fucking games room though, looking at getting a bigger place in the next few years but it's not a priority really unless I get properly sick of living near screeching weirdos. Fuck living with mates again though, you at least get a few months with a partner before you realise they're putting on airs, with friends it's a few days max before the wank socks and dirty plates start piling up

Congrats on the move anyway Dan, sure you two will be fine ;) Is awesome living with someone ya love, even if they do your nut from time to time <3

fuckkkkkkkk just blown half the electrics in the house AGAIN...I suspect my 24 year old glue gun has had it's day...oh fuck it gonna change the fuse. I get weirdly sentimental about odd objects....is the patois real or imagined Mr Mist?

I've just woken and it's a Sunday. I feel it is obligatory to mope about eating lots and smoking some weed. However, I have an interview at 18:30 so I must limit myself to a couple of joints. The worst thing is that it lasts up to three hours :! What kind of employer, except for a church maybe, brings you in for a 3 hour interview on a Sunday!?

You is proper hardcore mate! There's no way I'd contemplate having a couple of spliffs before an interview. Vodka, speed, heroin, benzos - definitely. But weed? No way..
