144mg daily aside from one week out of each month or so when i get my pain meds for the last 2-3 years. as soon as it wears off insane WD kicks in. my opiate tolerance is so high i can go through 60 oxy 40's and 120 perc 10's in under a week without getting so much as a slight warmth(and no lope never got me high just made me feel weird and fucked with my vision in higher doses) . am wondering how ibogaine might work for this issue if at all and am hoping someone somewhere out there might have some experience with this. any help greatly appreciated :?

First off, JEEBIS MERCY ME!!! that's an insane amount of meds! I'm hoping those perc 10's are ace free, or you're doing cwe's. I've heard mixed results when it comes to ibogaine, I seen this special on tv where dude tries to help out 2 H users with it, the one guys trip went well, but the other dude starting to seizure, can't recall if he died or not, I forget, either way it was serious shiznit! But what are your intentions? Are you trying to quit all together, use less, or bring your tolerance down?

Whatever your intentions are, lowering your intake will benefit you greatly... opiate tolerances build quickly, that's the bad news, however the good news is they fall just as quickly. So by lowering your dose, you should notice a corresponding drop in tolerance. If you're trying to quit, lowering your dose will help with that too, no matter what exit strategy you use..

Well without knowing your intentions, lower your dose, and you'll notice the stuff will actually work properly again, if you're trying to quit, look into suboxone/subutex, or if you want to take a radical approach (which kind of seems you do with ibogaine inquiry), look into Ayahuasca, I had a friend that was hooked for years, and he took dmt, he tripped so hard he manifested himself to the point where his soul had a stern face to face conversation about his use, after he came back to reality the revelation was so profound he quit cold turkey right there and then! far fetched, but very true story. (I am not a doctor, these findings have not been reviewed by FDA and previous said results are not typical) HAHAHAHA!!

Yes. But it's an ope too. There is some difficulty with the blood brain barrier that prevents it from cause a buzz in normal doses. Works wonders on fighting withdrawal, but some people get just as hooked on it.

Yeah it basically delays the onset of withdrawals and it plugs you up, furthermore delaying the inevitable process, cause as shitty (no pun intend) as crapping your brains out is, that's one of the ways your body rids itself of toxins.

Mindash, has it been the exact same routine the whole time? I hear tolerance goes sky high with loperamide especially. I've been stuck on 20-30 pills a day for about 8 months so I've read A LOT and most people say that at 3didgit mlg you can cut a bunch at first until you get down to where you are uncomfortable and then drop one or one half loperamide each week. I've read very good tolerance results from that way too.
I hope you do TRY to at least cut that in half as I'm almost positive you don't even need to take that much to feel okay.
Good luck to you

Guys be careful with megadosing loperamide. I can't point you to the correct thread but recently a correlation has been established between high dose lope and heart arrhythmia leading to death in some cases.

I actually have read something about ibogaine and loperamide and it said that ibogain had to be used in a hospital setting or it could be horrendous! Something about it being new? And not enough research.... yeah, kinda like loperamide.

Ibogaine is found in plants...you'll only be able to source it out of the country unless you have a badass hookup. There's probably plenty of places in Mexico where they do ibogaine therapy for people trying to detox off various drugs. I doubt you'll be able to find it in any kind of "hospital setting", but if what you mean is that you'd need a trip sitter, then yes, you're correct.

Loperamide is the active ingredient in Imodium, an over-the-counter anti-diarrheal med. It's neither new nor unresearched.

The two are completely different.

Here is a link to a page with lots of medical journals linking high dose lope to prolonged heart intervals which is the ideal state for deadly heart arrhythmia a like torsade de pointes - https://madmargaret.wordpress.com/2...learinghouse-password-protected-see-comments/

If you ever feel muscle weakness or easy fatigue or shortness of breath on loperamide these are very bad signs and may mean your heart is having arrythmic fits and you could drop dead from sudden cardiac arrest.

Don't mess with high dose loperamide period, if you need a maintenance drug then try suboxone or methadone to get off the loperamide. Although methadone can also prolong heart intervals so you should get an EKG every month or so when on it.

Also, If your going to keep using loperamide I recommend to dose, and then get an EKG a few hours later to make sure your heart is working right, specifically enquire about what your QTc interval length is. Anything over 460ms is considered prolonged and is very dangerous.

Thank you Phil I stand corrected.
I take an antidepressant 20mlg every day that is known to causes QT elongated heart rate so if I die they probably will blame that because I've heard loperamide doesn't show up in bllod or toxicology reports?
Plus if I'm dead how do they know I'm abusing loperamide? I promise I'm asking not being a smart ass.

Look, I don't want to be addicted to loperamide. Nobody does. I could tell a heroin addict don't take too much or you'll die.....I'm pretty sure they know that.
95% of loperamide posts are gone before anything substantial has come from experience. Like a successful taper or a more detailed withdrawal. Without other meds if possible.
You read "oh its so great", " it sucks" or "you'll die"
Loperamide addicts just don't stick around forums for long it seems

I've read Mad Margrets blogs all the way up to present and I'd like a second opinion.

I would put your WD's down to all the oxy you take, at best wouldn't the lope would be bridging your addiction to oxy?
