Maybe move this over to dark side idk but I have gotten to the point of loneliness that I feel trapped, I play online poker and as I say it hinders my social life to a degree , aside from that, anyone feel trapped alone at times?

So true. It's part of being human. But the problem comes in when you cement that loneliness in place by isolating. Sounds like you are worried you are doing that with the online poker (which can be very addictive). Maybe look into getting some help to stop that altogether for a while, give it a complete break?
In the meantime we are indeed here for each other; practically 24/7 you'll find someone else online.
