Hi all....so on the 9th of this month i took 4oz bottle of robo and i was wondering if you have lasting effects over a week for instance mild brain fog and some anxiety and just overall feeling kinda weird? this was the first time in a year that i had done 354mg any help to ease my mind would be much appreciated. thanks:)

Are you on any other types of medication prescribed or not? Could possibly be a weird interaction with something else. That's all I can think of..,
That's why I stick to "real" drugs ;) jk because I've had terrible exps from all drugs

DXM is a powerful drug once you get used to its effects. Yes DXM can hit you sideways. Its al about mindset. DXM can easily effect you the way it did. You didn't mention as others asked if you were on any other medications/drugs. If that's the case, DXM will interact in some way, shape or form. By itself, one small bottle, can give you week long after effects. maybe its time for a little break.

thanks for the reply guys. i wasnt on medication or anything so idk if its just because my body and mind wasnt used to the dxm or something. either way im not using it again lol.

Dextromethorphan after effects last up to a day with a regular release 300-400 mg dose. Extended release I think dxm polistirex sold as delsym can affect you a day and a half maybe depending on dose strength. Within 24-36 hours, you're usually able to sort out the delusions from reality and adjust in some way to the details entrenched in your every day problems. Sometimes you feel better with an uplifted outlook for a few days, sometimes you feel upset at the earthiness of mundane problems that haven't gone anywhere. Any way, it does not affect you in a physical way to cause memory problems beyond 1-2 days unless you used heroic doses or are heavy abuser.

whats the longest after effects you have had speed king or xan fan?

I have had disassociated effects, altered thinking and general mind fog for a full week before. I used to abuse dxm like 12 oz and 8 oz bottles every day for like 6 months or longer. the shit fucks with your memory. Once my parents found my empty's stash and there was like 60 empty bottles. For a while, I thought the mental changes were permanent. What the OP said is completely possible.

combining polistirex with HBr, I have had a trip last over 24 hours. I was in "plateau" for at least 14 hours. Experienced intense OEVs. Was an amazing experience. That said, look up Onsleys lesions... they havent been found in humans, as far as I know, but its something to consider, brain damage..... makes me think twice about an easy legal trip...

DXM is a potent drug. It does have the potential to produce a multi-day come-down. Best to stay away from it. NMDA antagonists basically simulate schizophrenia.

It certainly can be. If you're prone to psychotic illness or have someone in the family who has one then it's particularly recommended to stay away from it. I think checking out erowid wouldn't be a bad idea; it can't hurt https://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/dxm_health1.shtml.

I seem to remember reading in there a while ago that a full weekend of binge-drinking did a similar amount of brain damage as a line of ketamine. I'm not going to try to find it, but I clearly remember reading this..

For some people (those who have treatment-resistant depression), the benefits might outweigh the negatives. But we're talking about a particular sect of society, not everyone. And then there's the whole problem of purity...

I would go as far to say that taking ketamine once a week (not in super-high doses and without other drug use) for a while might not be horrible for you, but what do I know? More so, what do doctors know? We haven't begun to broach the enigma that is the human brain, much less the brain and its interaction with foreign substances.

But yes, NMDA antagonists are known to simulate symptoms of schizophrenia in those without the disease, as the intoxicated display both "negative" and "positive" symptoms, whereas stimulant intoxication more displays "positive" symptoms.

Some people do indeed develop hallucinations that don't go away or permanent brain damage as a result of NMDA antagonist abuse. The problem is that it's often too late when you do the damage (to fix it), and there's no going back.

Happy sailing!

Im feeling better now guys thanks. I guess i just didnt take dxm for so long i forgot what it felt like to feel strange after. damage usual happens among heavy users i presume?

Great reply. I've been on Bluelight for so long, I d.on't get over to Erowid as much as I should and everyone else. Thanks for the post

Yes, higher dosages for longer periods of time will cause more "damage" . The damage is subjective. Your mileage may vary. I would follow Ho-Chi-Min's advice and go check out Erowid. They have a whole lot of information for you.
