We're allowed to display him in graphical form no? How do you even know he looked like that? Is it the fact he's playing an instrument you find offensive? What is it? If people ASK me about it, i'll take the time to respond but i never bring the subject up myself, infact i deliberately try not to, as i come here to get away from all that.

i tried a couple of drugs that i was very common with previously, my interest was re-trying them from a new perspective to discern if they were good or bad. was hoping also to find something to replace alcohol with. failed, but am still open to possibilities.

I don't actually think you're forcing religion on anyone - but what you are doing is preaching a moral high ground that is based on ignorance more than anything else. The complete opposite attitude to have on an HR forum - where you aren't judging others for what they're doing but instead offer the best help you can give to keep them safe. And before you say abstinence is the answer, well no it isn't that simple unfortunately. You yourself drink frequently so that can't ever be a legitimate suggestion to others.

I dunno, my background shows I'm not biased in my views of christianity, i'm not from any other faith - I come from a country where the emphasis is less on the doctrine and more of a cultural identity of being christian, when people ask me there I will tell them christian, because that is how they understand my background. I come from a long line of orthodox priests as well - they were good people who helped generations of communities - again, have no hatred towards Christian people. What I don't enjoy is someone using their beliefs as a platform to dictate to a whole forum what is 'right' and 'wrong'.

How is the crucifixion mocked? Why isn't it empowering that he's rocking that cross? Never showing a moment's weakness? See it's pretty open to interpretation. Have you never heard of Christian Rock? They would love that avatar! :D And as we know, plenty of people were crucified, you're just assuming it's JC. Is it alright mocking someone else's crucifixion?

Look Raas, it's no secret that the majority of EADDrs and staff aren't too keen on religion, a few might have a dig at Christianity with a jokey meme or whatever, if it was done with malice and completely over stepped the line then I would understand but for the most part they are jokes. Why is Christianity or any religion for that matter so sensitive that it can't have a bit of fun taken out of it? Why is religion exempt?

I believe his reasoning wasn't that he was playing a guitar, but due to the fact he was on a cross (if it is in fact said Jesus, prove it), then that makes a mockery of his crucifixion, the act is irrelevant, any straying from the traditional representation of JC on the C has to be as it always is, no deviating with mockery of any sort or prop or change in hair colour / garments.

If anything it's really making a mockery of an image we have drilled into our heads constantly, that is refreshing /humourus to see in a new context. 21st century JC. Kicks ass, takes names.
