Glastonbury 2015 (from your front/back/bedroom)

Except for the cunt headlining tomorrow...
yep.

hmmm. the who or the chemical brothers on sunday night? no brainer.

also, after liking them for 30 years i just got to see the waterboys live in a tiny club in sacramento and they were fantastic. they are playing on the pyramid stage on saturday afternoon - i encourage people to check them out.

The first time I met my older sister I was 12 yr old and her favourite song was The Whole of the Moon. Every time I hear that song I am reminded to give her a call and tell her I love her

Well caribou and SBTRKT Certainly looked the business on the telly this evening.

i don't get the grief about Kanye west? He's not my cup of tea either so I'd probably head down the forest and fucking lose it in a random bondage bar instead. In fact I've done that most nights when I've been lucky enough to have. A ticket, who gives a shit about the headliners anyway? i went one year when the kings of Leon were headlining the Friday - what a load of shit. Ended up sacking them off and going to watch transformers in the cinema field. With a huge bag of Mandy.

Well, for crying out loud, it's not like some one-portaloo festival somewhere in the arse-end of nowhere with three punk bands from the local secondary schools and some guy with a guitar who tours from pub to pub usually when he outstays his welcome, playing through a PA that struggles to overcome the genny before a crowd of dozens.

Here's an idea. If you don't like the music on one of the stages, how about just taking a wander to another stage? Or into the markets, or the spiritual fields, or just pick a direction at random and see where you end up?

I've said it before, but I'll say it again... I've no problem with Kanye West 'performing' at Glasto, (hell, I'm not even going so I don't really give a fuck), it's the fact that he's got top billing on Saturday night, when really he should be the opening act on the 'talentless wankers stage' in some godforsaken corner of the site just behind the toilets...

Edit: I got my daughter to play me some of his Yeezus album the other day - I think I managed about 2 minutes before taking an axe to the CD player in a fit of blind rage. It was even worse than I expected - and I didn't think that was possible :\

Back in the days before iPlayer, I actually used to have a long lead with two audio plugs on one end and a stereo 3.5 mm jack plug on the other, connecting the audio output of my VCR to the sound card of my computer; and would grab .wav files and make CDs of the best of Glastonbury.

just hearing the title of that song gives me goosebumps :)

it's epic, epic, epic.

Just hope they play 'fisherman's blues' ...

Edit: I see that by the time I posted the above, the Waterboys had already been on! However, try as I might I can't find any recording of them on BBC. Does anyone know if their set is available anywhere?

Watched the Jamie XX set earlier, was decent. might look up some others tomorrow

Kanye is a proper tosser

Spiritualized were good although a little pedestrian, seen them a thousand times better. I hope to fuck they show Leftfield on the old red button. Kanye = bag o' shite.

Kanye West - the man who never fails to disappoint!

I think I am currently witnessing the biggest WTF? moment in the history of Glastonbury...

Hit the red button - Burt Bacharach is on top form.

On a side note Motorhead were fucking class yesterday, at least from my sofa with a selection of beers and some diclazepam.
