Thank fuck ive got my best headphones fixed and sounding even better for £15 and can listen to tracks to like this again in all their glory. I had trodden on the lead and bent the jack, presumably when wasted, spending an extra fiver on a better cable has been well worth it, the loudness was lacking abit before, but now they are as loud as i want them to be. :D
