Work performance on methamphetamine

You know every addict has said this at some point, right? I think keeping work and meth separate is a decent boundary to maintain. We all get bored, or tired. You can't get high every time it happens.

Just a thought.

Again, this isn't my question. I realize that. But I've never found pleasure in meth as far as recreationally. I don't find the high to be fun. The energy is the only aspect of it I like.

And nobody ever said every time. Is doing it a couple times here and there at work worse than doing it at home for fun? Either way, you're still doing meth. Some may even argue at least at work something productive is being done..

Some of what has been said might not be the answers you want to hear, but all of the replies I've seen so far are definitely relevant to your question. Nobody here is judging you, they are showing concern for your well being and what could potentially happen if you start using meth at work. To answer your question, yes, of course meth will increase your work performance - by your own admission, you've done meth quite a few times so you should have a reasonable understanding of its effects.

However, you said you've never used at work, and the problem here is that some people who begin using to increase performance, energy, motivation, productivity, etc. find they can't work properly without the drug. If you can limit your use at work to a few times a week and still maintain an otherwise normal lifestyle, then go right ahead, we're just trying to warn you that it can be a slippery slope and you should keep things in check if you're going to start doing so.

For what it's worth, there are plenty of other stimulants that I'd recommend using at work before meth, but you seem dead set on it, so what's stopping you?

This is true. But I'm looking at once every two weeks at the most. My meth connections have decreased heavily over the past couple years and I have no interest in looking hard for this reason.

Nothing really is stopping me, I just know there are definite risks as far as heart rate and things along those lines, and I'm curious how concerned I should be exactly with those things. By the answers and considering my job, I think not very. But also comedown, it seems that if I come down during my shift I worry it could be an awful experience.

Also I wanted to hear others experiences, because if it had little effect or it was more risk than it's worth, I'd probably reconsider. I'm looking at a couple long shifts to dose halfway into it for a second burst of energy to finish off when I get tired, but I wanna be absolutely sure I take proper precautions.

As i said before i liked it. It helped me out tremebdously after takin a low dose 3 hours in on a 12 hour shift
