not sure but lately every time i use benzos i never hold back or bite my tongue when talking to people
someone even called me asshole the other day because they got the truth haha
also become a bit of a smart ass
this happen to anyone else ?

All gaba drugs like Alcohol, Benzos, Barbiturates, Z-hypnotics, etc can lower inhibitions to various extents which can lead to some people being more open about things and willing to talk. This is why certain Barbiturates with Sodium Pentothal aka Sodium thiopental being the most famous one perhaps was used to gain confessions from peoples and used as truth serums by government agencies as the CIA as well as KGB. Other barbs where also used for this purpose and so has alcohol of course as well as a few Benzos as well the anti-cholinergic Scopolamine. But Sodium Penthol seems to have been the most famous. Al these drugs proved to be unreliable as it often fucked people up so bad they couldn't tell the truth from fantasy.

I find high doses of benzos can act as a sort of truth serum and i find that Zopiclone is bad for it even in not much higher then prescribed doses.

Yes! Benzos tend to make you say and do what ever you're thinking of at that very moment. Sometimes they make you feel 10ft tall and bulletproof.....and invisible. Sometimes, benzos lie. You're not invisible, I promise. But I camt stop loving them.
On a related topic, does anyone know why it's getting harder and harder to find xanax.

Barbiturates are even worse. I suppose it's down to the disinhibiting effect accompanying GABAergics. The stronger the GABAergic, the more disinhibited one becomes. The more disinhibited one becomes, the greater the probability they'll divulge or blurt out some personal fact or secret they'll regret having said once sober.

For example, drink more than 0.5 L vodka in less than an hour and I'm sure you'll finish the day having said at least one thing you'll wish by tomorrow you'd have kept to yourself.

I wouldn't say benzos are a truth serum.

It is true that you are more likely to say whatever is on your mind at the time due to lowered inhibitions - but that doesn't necessarily mean it is actually how you feel about something in reality.

I've been so out of it on benzos before that it affects my mood and subsequently whatever comes out of my mouth is a lot of garbage that I wouldn't want to be quoted on...ever.

Oh, really? I appreciate your opinion, but not quite as much as benzodiazepines and their ability to allow one to use language without euphemism, prevarication, or equivocation. To hell with tact and propriety, I'd rather have truth and probity.

For if one cannot say what one thinks, then they're either mute or dishonest.

But I concur with the rest of your comment.

I'd rather be mute and dishonest than to share everything going through my mind :)

Well, I agree for some scenarios. Would I enjoy nothing more than candidly confessing my opinion about everythng whilst in the presence of my girlfriend? Obviously not.

But what about Christopher Hitchens-esque candor in a debate or unsullied clarity as an author?

Somebody wise once said "Write while drunk, edit while sober". I don't think there can be any superior way to write. Of course, alcohol may be substituted for, say, triazolam or secobarbital or flunitrazepam or methaqualone or some other GABAergic.

i honestly don't care what people think or don't think i usually keep thoughts and opinions to myself as i despise drama of sorts
i find it comical that people say "tell me the truth" but when they actually hear the truth they get pissed off ha
i'm not saying i blurt out everything on my mind because i can control it
i just find it easier to speak the truth while on xanax easier than say alcohol
hmmm xanax doesnt seem to cause any other "side effects" except this guess this is normal haha
for what it's worth the same someone who called me an asshole actually sent a "thank you for the truth i needed to hear that" text haha
oh benzo's

In my opinion, honesty at the outset doesn't cause drama; rather, it saves everyone involved a fuck of a lot more time.

i find it comical that people say "tell me the truth" but when they actually hear the truth they get pissed off ha

The only types of people this may apply to are,
a.) the people that have only ever imbibed comforting lies since sitting upon their mother's knee as a cherub—which is, admittedly, most people; or
b.) those people that already know the truth about themselves, but are too afraid to face it and thus try to solicit gratifying comments from any milquetoast clay pigeon they can find, and become unreasonably pugnacious or lachrymose or generally emotive if confronted by truth.

i just find it easier to speak the truth while on xanax easier than say alcohol

Then you don't drink enough. <snip>

for what it's worth the same someone who called me an asshole actually sent a "thank you for the truth i needed to hear that" text haha

All that means is you did something right, so don't worry. But just wait until the television-prohibited expletives—cunt, cocksucker, prick, twat, dickhead, motherfucker, etc—start flying. Then you'll have mastered the art of telling people what they already know but don't want to hear.

oh benzo's

Mmh. Yes, indeed.
