So my "supply" of pain medication has been switched from hydrocodone to tramadol, which is obviously a step down but not much I can do about that without begging and stealing lol. I've had tramadol once before, and to be honest with you, I felt nothing. Well, maybe a little spaced out. To be honest I'm not sure if I didn't think I felt anything simply because I wasn't sure what I was supposed to feel/expect? (this is what happened when I first took MDMA. it just felt odd to me versus feeling really good because I wasnt sure what the hell I was feeling) I think I took 100 at first and then dosed another 100 30 minutes later, so it was a relatively low beginning dose.
I've heard that you can get buzzed off tramadol, but its kind of an acquired taste that takes a bit to develop. I've also heard that you either love it or hate it: some have even claimed its their DOC, while others claimed they felt nothing at all and actually had unpleasant affects. Since I didn't feel much the first time I tried it, is it safe to a assume that I'm one of those people that feels nothing from it? Or should I keep trying and/or just increase the dosage?
For the record, I had been taking norco for a while, about two years. But my highest dose for a really good buzz only went up to 20mg, so I have an either naturally low or slow to build tolerance, if that helps. I only weigh about 104 lbs. Low doses of codeine and xanax get me going pretty good. So I'd hoped this would be the same where I wouldn't have to take like 20 pills to feel something (especially with that seizure threshold).
Gosh I wish I loved tramadol as much as some people seem to. I feel like I should because what I really loved from hydrocodone was the energy I would get, and I hear tramadol can have that same effect. But maybe it only works for some people. -.- I'm going to try my hardest to like it, anyway. What choice do I have? I'm one of those addicts that can't go a day without popping some kind of pills or another, and this is all I can get for now. And what's worse is theres nothing even medically wrong with me, I actually think being addicted to these medications has caused me more physical and psychological problems then I had before I discovered them!
Anyone care to share their thoughts on tramadol?
