I had my first and only Psilocybin_mushroom experience 4 months ago,I didnt have bad trip that time(actually I didnt feel anything more than a little dizzy),but that night I couldnt sleep at all which made me really anxious, and the day after that I started to have insomnia ,since now it has been 4 months and I still have bad sleep quailty(wake up 2to 3times a night and has vivd dreams).
Could one-time use psilocybin mushroom cause that?Or am I just too worried about it?
I am just afraid that mushroom could damage my serotonin system, and gave me chronic insomnia.

Or am I just too worried about it?

To be honest, I think worry is what is compounding your insomnia. Perhaps you always woke up during the night but before you had a reason to worry about it you just went back to sleep and thus did not even remember it in the morning. Also, sleep patterns do change a lot depending on many factors from hormones to what is going on in your life in general.

You might want to try listening to some relaxation guided meditations (podcasts) before you go to sleep. It's a good strategy for retraining your mind from over-thinking and anxiety.<3

I don't think mushrooms could cause that, even if you did have a dark or bad trip on them, or just took a low dose of them and felt dizzy.

Are you having any stress, or anxiety in your life? Or do you take stimulants or even just drink a lot of caffeine during the day or early evening?
